I can't say enough nice things about this place, the staff are so friendly and the interior is warm and cosy. i went with my family of 7 to shalimar just after christmas and i found it to be very good value and the food was superb. we all had different dishes and each was so packed with flavour. we were given complimentary poppadoms with a mango dip which was a nice touch. i will definitely be going back sometime soon :)

I love this place I order takeaway weekely and also eat in the restaurant every so often. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Myself and my husband were there on fri night for my birthday and I had the the prawn puri to start and chicken balti for main with pilau rice and goc naan my husband had lamb kebab to start and lamb balti for main just love the food in this place and would defo recommend it if you love a good indian meal.

I always go here with my family or my boyfriend as they have 2 great offers. The first is a 5 euro lunch, which is ridiculously good value for a decent sized main with rice. Their early bird is also very generous: 14.95 for 3 courses and a glass of wine each. The food is also very scrummy, the staff are very attentive and friendly and the restaurant itself is light airy and very classy. For what you are getting you really cannot beat the value for money coupled with great food and drink. Definitely one of my weekly favourites and i would strongly recommend anyone in the area to try it out.
