In here for lunch on Saturday. It was quiet enough when we arrived with only one person working behind the bar & taking food orders. Nice lunch menu, plenty to choose from, and it’s a lovely spot, the décor was quaint and it had a real country feel to it. We both decided on the soup and toasted sandwich option, priced at a very reasonable €9. The soup came out first, a wonderful creamy vegetable, that alone was very filling! We got a shock however when our toasted ham cheese, tomato and onion sandwich arrived. It came on a huge plate, filled with lots of skinny french fries, a huge side salad & big dollop of coleslaw. Way too much for us! The sandwich itself had 3 slices of bread, massive! As nice as it all was, there was no way we could have finished it all! Excellent value - however, be warned, that it’s a massive portion & that you'd want to be very hungry!
