I went here with my mother and two sisters. To be honest my expectations were low however I was very surprised. We all had the main and dessert. I had the hake with chorizo cream sauce it was very tasty and for dessert I had a chocolate fondant which was cooked to perfection, it was slightly bitter but the sweetness of the ice cream complimented it brilliantly. The rest of my family really enjoyed their meals also; there was no complaints which is quiet unusual for us. The atmosphere was nice for such an early sitting and the restaurant was nearly full with almost all females. The serves was good also we had a girl serving us and we found her very friendly with a good sense of humour. It has been a while now since that dinner and I am looking forward to going there again.

I brought my mum and sister here for Sunday lunch to celebrate my mums birthday. I had the roast chicken of the day, as did my mum. I was very disappointed with it. A small chicken breast, on a bed of mash, with a pitiful amount of carrots and veg. When my main arrived, I immediately asked for more gravy, which did not appear for 20 minutes, by which time I had almost finished, after fretfully looking at the waitress every 5 minutes for the duration of the meal. I had to ask again before it was eventually delivered. Very disappointing. And at €13 for a Sunday roast main, it was terrible value. The waitress made an excuse that the chef had not heard her ordering it, however, she should have noticed that I was still waiting on it. I have to say it completely ruined an already disappointing meal.I was annoyed at having to complain on what should have been a relaxing birthday lunch. In addition, my glass of white wine (Chardonnay) tasted very off and I had a suspicion it was corked. When I complained about my main course, the manager offered me a free dessert-I feel that he should have taken my main off the bill. I shared a dessert, a brownie, with my sister. We both agreed it was dry and tasteless. My sister enjoyed her main of chorizo pasta. I wont be rushing back.
