stayed over night in the hotel and had a set menu from this restaurant, service was very slow, food was left standing for a good while before anyone brought it over so batter was a bit soggy on my spring rolls, the waitress said the thai curry was spicy so i was totally on for that, it was more salty than anything else so big turn off, got the deep fried ice cream, pity, like the starters, it was left standing so when i got the ice cream it was completly melted, very disappointing

Oh good Lord, what a diner we had. It was utterly wonderful. The atmosphere and decor were superb, the staff discreetly attentive, and I would eat here every single time I visit Kilkenny.

We ate at Yindees while staying in the hotel over the weekend. This was our second time eating here and the standards have dropped a bit unfortuantely. We had a set menu for €38 which was a selection of some of the better dishes from the main menu. I had king prawns for starter which were good and a Jalfrezzi for mains. This was only ok, the Lamb in it was tough and overall the flavour was only ok. The people I was with also had an mixed expereince and you would get a better Thai / asain meal in town or even in a good take away.
