Pennefeather 4.0 star review: This restaurant is above a book shop and there is a great buzz about it. It is not, to my knowledge, accessible to those in wheelchairs which is disappointing. The tables are a little too close together and so conversations are not entirely private and it can be uncomfortable when trying to pull out chairs and seat yourself. The food is always well prepared and is served quickly. Service in general is quite good, though could improve slightly at busier times. The menu is as you would expect and there are special offers which represent really good value. My meal was hot, well presented mostly. It could have had less crisps served with the sandwich - it looks less classy with so many. The flavours were good and portions generous. Prices in general are reasonable, there is nothing too expensive. And one thing I particularly is you are not pressured to leave quickly, no one grumbles at you. People working there are polite and and their uniforms are always clean and tidy. All in all I enjoyed my solo meal and would return and recommend this restaurant. I am not surprised it is popular.
