Had lunch here the other day,I had veggie panini chips and salad came with it, it was lovely,
my partner had soup and the daily special which was roast beef on ciabatta (€10).
The staff were very helpful and polite. good value for money.
Next time we arein KIlkenny, will defo eat there again.

Stopped in for lunch before heading back to Dublin on the train. Food was lovely, atmosphere was great and bar staff were very friendly. The cost was reasonable too for the amount of food we got. 4 beers and two mains for under €40. ye can't go wrong!

Popped in here for a quick lunch. Nice location on John street beside the river. I had the fish and chips which was very tasty and was served quick. The food was average price and was worth the money. Will visit again as i was happy with it.

Had lunch with two friends. I had beer batter haddock and chips. the fish was fresh and the batter was really good, light and crunchy, not at all greasy.
the chips were fine and the tartar sauce ok, id prefer it chunkier.
My companions had a burger and chicken curry , both were very happy with their choices.
The pub is nicely set out, the service friendly and the food is definitely on the superior end of pub grub.
With food and a few cokes the bill came in at E40 which was not over the top.

this is a lovely pub and the food is delicious and very good value,every1 in the group enjoyed the food,except the nachos their not great,will defo be returning when bak in kilkenny

Good value for money and food served fast and was piping hot. Place wasn't busy and the barman was chatty so it was a pleasant visit. Would definitely go back there again.

Nice spot for a bit of lunch, Ive been in a few times and always happy with the quality of what I get. I love the steak ciabatta & the steak burger. Ive been down a couple of times for Sunday lunch too, always good in flavour and price!
