Mocha Cafe & Restaurant (Kilkenny) 4.5 star review: A lovely experience. Good food and good service. Excellent gluten free options. A nice wine list. My third time to visit - will be back again!

Mocha Cafe & Restaurant (Kilkenny) 5.0 star review: My favourite find in Kilkenny. This is a gem of a place and much worth a visit if you're in the area. The shop style of the cafe was delightful and very unique. The food was lovely and the service loveilier.
I had the chicken caesar salad and my friend had the burger and we both shared. It was above cafe quality. I'm only raging I didn't leave room for dessert of all those gorgeous chocolates!!

Mocha Cafe & Restaurant (Kilkenny) 4.0 star review: What a charming place, the little ribbon boutique and the chocolate shop on the way throught to the cafe are just lovely. There are loads of books scattered about so you can look while having a coffee or waiting if liked. The atmosphere is really different. The menu was varied and they included gluten free choices, and a menue for the chocolates should you so wish. The food was well presented, we both had the goats cheese and carmalised onion tart (lovely crispy pastry and plenty of cheese), with red cabbage salad (a bit too much vinegar for me) and a portion of giant chips which were truly delicious. Well worth a visit.

Mocha Cafe & Restaurant (Kilkenny) 4.0 star review: Stunning place. Really quirky and it feels like a treat to go there. Food not the healthiest and very expensive but it feels like one of those places that is worth paying a bit more because the atmosphere is great.

Mocha Cafe & Restaurant (Kilkenny) 5.0 star review: really nice cafe that does a great lunch - if you like chocloate you will think you are in heaven - every type and kind of chocolate that you can think of. We had a really lovely home made lasagne served with great chunky chips and salad. it was lovely but I asked them to heat it half way through as it was cool - instead they gave me another portion that was piping hot. Very good service and it was less than a tenner. Nice atmosphere in the cafe with a pleasant and frinedly staff. Worth a visit for coffee or lunch

Mocha Cafe & Restaurant (Kilkenny) 4.5 star review: Discovered this little cafe on a weekend away to Kilkenny and absolutely fell in love with it! The atmosphere is just gorgeous - it is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has loads of handmade chocolate, and also a selection of sewing things (ribbons etc!) laid out - very pretty! There are also books to read. It's very quirky, and very cute!

The food was really tasty (typical cafe food, as well as a range of hot dinners), but quite pricey for what it was I thought. Even the chocolate is very expensive €4.95 for a relatively small slab. It's worth the bit of extra dosh for the atmosphere though - it really is so lovely. And the location is fab - right on the main street in Kilkenny. I'd definitely recommend it, and it'll be my first stop when I go back to Kilkenny!
