Have gone here few times over the years and was always happy with the food, but I cannot say the same for my recent meal.
Service was fine but all i can say for the food is overpriced and disgusting.
I ordered the chicken supreme, on the menu it sd '' in a creamy sauce '' was more like water, a beige water with a sickening taste to it. Chicken was way overcooked, got it very hard to cut it up. My friend got beef lasagne, nothing special about it, was bland an looked like it had being reheated.
Will not be returning.

Stopped off here on the way home from Dublin. Heard many great things and was utterly disappointed!!! My partner god a steak sandwich which came out on two dry pieces of normal toast. No onions, mushrooms etc... and it wasnt cheap!! I got lasagne which was bland and dry i asked for coleslaw instead of side salad and got charged over 3e extra!!!! overall experience was not got staff standing around bar man very loud and always trying to be funny not what you want or expect for the prices they charge!!!

Go here most Friday evenings for a meal and can get quite busy (nice busy). Get your name down on the list when you arrive and your order will be taken while you are waitng for your table. I can very rarely fault the food, service or atmosphere. Great chunky chips!!! The prices are a little high but the portions are large and I rarely have room for desert, but I manage to share one with someone else. Staff are friendly and attentive. Defo worth dropping in if you are passing and worth going out of your way too. Recommend the specials. I can honestly say its the best pub grub resturaunt that consistantly produces good food. It's on the old N4 about 5 miles west of Enfield, down a side road and quite easy to miss. No Food on Sundays!!

We visited Fureys for lunch on Easter Monday. As usual the food was fab and the chips to die for. We even had room for dessert and had an abolutely fantastic slice of banoffi pie.
The place was thronged with families enjoying the bank holiday and the staff were as friendly as usual.
I'd highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner and don't get caught out by visiting on a Sunday as this is the only day they don't serve food.

Called to Furey's one evening about 5pm and after looking at menu decided on a steak. Seemed a little pricey at €23 but decided to go for it. Ordered a pint of Mi-wadi orange also.
Got the steak and when asked by waitress if I wanted anything else I asked for pepper sauce, a common enough request with a steak house I'd have thought, had actually assumed it would come with it. The food was excellent and came with great chips and onions&mushrooms.
However when I went to pay I was charged €2.25 for the sauce and 80c for the glass of mi-wadi!! This was a total rip-off on for a steak that cost €23 to begin with. This bleeding of customers needs to be highlighted. Would't go back near the place again if this is their attitude as I for one won't get caught again.

Always wanted to call in here and finally we did. So delighted we did. Had only planned a quick drink but the smell of food was so enticing, we ordered the steak baguette. Done perfectly to our liking with homemade chips. Usually pass here on Sundays when they dont do food. Looking forward to next bank holiday Monday to return for food.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat on the way home.
Fureys is a hidden gem. The food is simple but very tasty and good value. The service was a little on the slow side as it was very busy but the food was well worth the wait.
My favourite part of going west is the pit stop at fureys.
It just a shame they don't open on Sundays

Best pub ever! I love this place, I'm originally from the area, so we always try to pop in for a bite when we visit. Great simple bar food, friendly service, and a decent pint of the black stuff to wash it all down. And if you eat too much you can always walk it off strolling down the canal! Never disappoints. Only bad thing? No food on a sunday, what a pain.
