The Orient 5.0 star review: I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, its my favourite chinese restaurant ever. I visit here a lot at the weekend and enjoy their three course meal for €16.80, which is excellent value. Last thursday four of us decided to go out for yet another great meal and when we arrived couldnt believe that during the week the three course meal is only €15.00, unbelievable value. I have never had a bad meal in this place (nor has any of my friends or family), the food is delicious and the staff are the friendliest, nicest people around. So if you want gorgeous, great value chinese food with great waiting staff you HAVE to try the Orient, you wont be disappointed.

The Orient 3.5 star review: The reviews for this place seemed quite good. We booked by phone for Saturday night about an hour before going and no problem. When we arrived the place was empty and this was 8.30pm. It's a big place so lo's of space to fill. No problem with the service and we had a three course set menu meal at €16.80 a head. It was quite good value and no complaints. The food was good. Good wine list and draught beer too. There was no atmosphere as the place was empty. We thought strange for a Saturday night. Good value if your minding the pennies.

The Orient 5.0 star review: We wnet to the Orient for a birthdya dinner. The staff were very attentive and efficient. The food was excellent. Not one person at the table did not enjoy their food. We had a birthday cake and they gave us containers to take the left over cake home, which I thought was very nice. We then went into the Kareokie room. I would reconmend the Orient for a party or meal for two.

The Orient 5.0 star review: I went back to the Orient last Sat for a birthday celebration and again was blown away with the food and the service. There was four of us and we had various starters (yuk sung, spring rolls) and various mains (fillet beef with black bean sauce, chilli prawns & beef curry) which were all gorgeous. Had ice cream for deserts and piping hot expressos which we got on the house. After our meal a karoke was starting up and really added to the atmosphere, only for we were heading out to a party, would have loved to have stayed. I cannot praise this restaurant enough, the food is delicious and the staff are delightful. Definitely the best chinese around.

The Orient 5.0 star review: Went last night to this restaurant. All you can eat for €12. You can choose from 10 starters and 10 main courses ( you choose the sauce and the meat so really 40 mains available). Mains are served with boiled or fried rice and chips. The food was fresh and tasty... especially the chicken and sweetcorn soup! you can order as many times and you want with no funny looks like I have experienced in other places ( I prefer starters to a main so was well looked after).. Will be back next week.. Also as we were leaving there was Karaoke starting so all in all a great cheap and cheerful night out

The Orient 4.0 star review: Relatively new restaurant, doing a lunch-time special for only €8.80. It’s done buffet style, “all you can eat”. I was sceptical about it before I went, but I have to say it was good - tasty food and genuinely good value. Good range of dishes to choose from – “usual suspects” for Chinese food. Some of the dishes were empty, but were replaced during our meal, so we could still return if we missed something. Decor is nice, if a bit dark during the day. Friendly staff, and good if you want to make the most of a lunch-hour. Worth a visit.
