Had an evening dinner here with one other person. When we arrived the place was fairly busy and a lot of people eating food. We picked our seats and the staff were promptly over to give us a menu. Since we are regular visitors, we knoew what we would most liekly order but the menu has plenty of options for most tastes. We ordered chicken curry which came with a block of white rice and a side order of chips. This was very tasty, plenty of lean chicken bits along with chunky veg (peppers, onion). We also ordered lasange which came with a side salad and chips. The lasange portion looked big but was the perfect size. The only slight critique I owuld have is the lasange was a bit salty and maybe too much cheddar cheese on top. We cleaned our plates and had no complaints. We were given a big jug of water also which makes a change from some places who just give you a small glass of water! The staff are very friendly and returned mid-way throug our meal to check if everything was okay. It was. There were no delays when we went to pay our bill. The value was great..€10.50 for each dish and for top quality pub grub (the best around) too. The atmosphere in the ub is nice, a very local, regulars feel but also very welcoming. The pub itself is beautifully decorated, kept immaculatly clean and a very comfortable place ot be.

Man the steak here is fantastic, and very good value too. It's pub grub at it's best. The staff are really pleasant and we even got a free pint! The steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly, served with all the usual trimmings and a lovely pepper sauce. What more do you want?

Great food and great atomosphere, the steaks are delicous and the food is unpretentious, well worth a visit!
