Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 5.0 star review: I had dinner here after a hectic day shopping at Kildare Village. This is my second visit and i will return again, It was a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy but the service and food was still excellent! We had the main and desert offer for €13.95 per person which was great value! I had the stuffed chicken and vegetables then i had the death by chocolate cake and both were delicious. It was cold and raining outside and the atmosphere in Silken Thomas was fab - warm and welcoming! Staff are friendly and the food is delicious.

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 5.0 star review: Myself and a friend popped in here after a few hours at Kildare Village. It was a wednesday afternoon but it was busy enough we ate from the bar menu but carvery was available also. We were served immediately - prompt and very friendly! The food was good and very reasonably priced Soup and a Sandwich was just €2.50 and coffee and a dessert was just €4.95!

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 4.5 star review: Popped in here for lunch after some retail therapy in KIldare Village, it was 2.30 on a Saturday afternoon and the place was hopping!! It's a huge place so we'd no problem finding a table. We ordered a cajun chicken bap and a club sandwich (6.70 each) plus a side of chips (1.75). Both sandwiches were very tasty and came with a bit of side salad, the chips were soso but we ate them all the same! We followed with a latte and a tea, service throughout was friendly and helpful. We ate off the bar menu but we noticed some people coming from the carvery and they had the most massive portions of food that I've ever seen - something to bear in mind if you fancied a 'real feed'!!!

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 2.5 star review: Dined here last night with husband. We were very disappointed. Food was not great. Husband ordered chicken wings which came with a sauce laced with vinegar? He could barely taste them for the pungent smell of vinegar. In fairness the waitress noticed something was wrong and replaced them without the sauce. I had the chicken liver pate with melba toast and it wasn't great. For mains we had fish/chips and burger. The burger was ok but fish/chips were over done. Service was friendly but definately will not be back

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 5.0 star review: Travelling from Cork to Dublin, having stopped off in Kildare Village shopping, we were in need of Dinner. Nothing to our liking in Kildare Village so we decided to stop in Kildare Town. We went into Flanagans @ Silken Thomas. Plenty of customers here. We both ordered steaks, one sirloin one fillet. They were both 'gorgeous', done to perfection (well done & medium). Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely stop off here again.

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 5.0 star review: Called in here for lunch with my family while visiting Kildare Village for shopping after Christmas. Upon entering, the place seemed full and we were just about to leave when a very friendly member of staff came over to us and showed us to additional seating in the restaurant (we had come in through the bar). Three family members had the roast beef from the carvery, which they were very pleased with. I had a toasted sandwich from a very extensive menu of snacks and sandwiches, which I had to order separately. This came out very quick, considering how busy the place was. We were very happy with both the food and service, and if ever I found myself in the area again, I would look forward to eating here.

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 5.0 star review: Ate here for the first time in a while on Wednesday night, was amazed at how busy the place was. After eating here I could absolutely understand why. Staff, while obviously very busy, were friendly and efficient and our order was taken quickly by a very pleasant girl who was obviously very knowledgable about the menu. They have a deal where you get 2 courses for €14.95, and other deal for dessert and coffee. We had a great evening out, with beautiful food (my husband asked me to mention the salmon, he said it was fantastic), and the whole lot was less than €50. Great work guys, keep it up!!! Will be back soon.

Flanagans @ Silken Thomas 4.0 star review: We had carvey here, good choice of menu. Unfortunately it was cold, they took it back and microwaved it. It was ok. I got turkey and my companion got beef. His was definitely nicer. We have been here before and it was much nicer. We probably got it on a bad day. Will try again.
