We have visited twice this month and have enjoyed both visits very much. A comfortable but lovely space. Attentive & helpful staff (despite a very busy restaurant especially today!) And the food is just wonderful - three of us were very happy with our selections today and two of us felt the same earlier this month. Quality ingredients and skillful preparation. We will be back soon!

Had dinner in the resturant for 4 people. white tablecloth and all (a rarity nowdays). Greeted warmly when we arrived. There was a choice of a good value set menu or an a la carte menu. We chose from the a la carte menu. Food was superb and service perfect. Would highly recommend and we will be back, our friends from KIlkenny were also very impressed.

i visited fallons yesterday for sunday lunch with my family of 4 and i must say i was very impressed with both food and service. i was greeted by a very chirpy young man behind the bar and got a lovely table beside a fireplace and got offered a highchair straight away for my toddler without even asking.. they had a wide selection of food on the menu and a 3 course meal was only 19.95 which i think is extremely good value. starters were out within minutes and the kids got fed really quickly and was only 10e for the two of them with desserts and a drink!!! i had a whiskey and raisin cheesecake for dessert which was to die for and i for one was a very happy customer and will definately be back soon.

A group of 6 travelled to fallons , having been reccommended by friends, expectations often being a dangerous thing. Two people went off the set dinner menu great choice and value at €27.00 i opted to share the cote de boeuf with one of the group, it came out on a board with the option of carving ourselves - massive WOW factor. Strawberry stack for dessert, YUM would highly reccomend to all.

We have been to this restaurant a number of times and at the end of each meal we have always said that we would go back. WELL NEVER AGAIN !
We had a meal this restaurant on Saturday last. We were greeted by a very friendly barman who did all the pleasantries and rhymed off the specials by heart and asked if we needed a high chair for the little fella.
We placed our order and the meal arrived in a timely fashion and was lovely. Shortly after our desserts arrived there was a raising of voices behind the bar between the bar lady and barman. This argument carried on for what seemed, five minutes. They must have thought everyone in the place was blind and deaf. When the argument finished the customer at the bar up and left and so did the couple sitting beside us. We would have done the same but our desserts had just arrived prior to the argument.
The bar lady arrived down with my wife’s coffee about 15 minutes later and no sign of an apology or anything. It was very embarrassing and the first time I’ve seen something like this in any restaurant I’ve eaten in.
It’s a shame, I’ve always found the Fallon & Byrne name, brand and eateries enjoyable. But with this sort of carry on you will just continue to loose good paying customers like myself.

A group of 6 of us visited here on a Friday evening. Staff were very friendly and service was efficient however the atmosphere was lacking in the restaurant area, as was the food. Starters were hit and miss and salads had to be returned because of missing ingredients. Seabass for mains was way overcooked to the point of being inedible. Risotto was just ok, a bit tasteless. We got the cheeseboard to share, which was very nice, as were the Irish coffeys! We all felt the food was very overpriced, especially for what we were served. Unfortunately we wont be returning.

We arrived at 5pm and could choose from both the lunch menu and the dinner menu. Both were reasonably priced and the children's menu was very impressive. The staff were friendly and efficient and overall the service was very good. Excellent quality food and right sized portions. A good wine list to suit all tastes and pockets

This would be a frequent enough choice for us for Sunday dinner, and always enjoyed. On this visit, while the food was very tasty as always (we had chicken korma and braised pork belly), the service was pretty slow, although we may have just come at a bad time in the evening. Also the desserts were disappointing, I opted for Summer trifle which was little more than summer berries, with some stale sponge cake then covered with mascarpone cheese. They offer great value for money however as they are offering double savings on the vat reduction. I have no doubt we will be back here again.

Have visited this place a few times but was disappointed on my last visit. I have always felt this place is very overpriced. The evening bar menu is quite limited and the daytime menu seemed much more appealing but as it was 6pm we could not order from that menu. I ordered the Fallons burger which was tasty and very large, it came with chips which were quite frankly awful, they were greasy and soggy. We had been waiting quite a while for our food so I hadn't got the patience to send them back. I paid 18 euro for the burger so definitely don't feel that was good value when there is so much competition out there.
