Caulfield's Kildare 3.0 star review: Had lunch and dinner here 5 or 6 times. Food is always hearty and good sized portions. Service for lunch is good but evening dinner is often slow (worst was 1hour wait because the waiter didnt put the order through!!). Some good value lunch deals however so I would recommend it as a good option for lunch and it has never been crazy busy at lunchtime when i've been in.

Caulfield's Kildare 3.0 star review: I would agree with a previous reviewer, It a bit hit or miss..The service really can be quite slow, I would not mind this myself but when you have a young child with you it can be annoying. The food as well can be hit or miss depanding on what you order. The chicken and fish is good on sundays but I also ordered a curry one evening and I would say it came out of one of those buckets bought in ready made. It was annoying as there is a nearby indian restaurant where I could have eaten a good curry. Its a nice pub if you are looking for a relaxing drink.

Caulfield's Kildare 4.0 star review: this is prob my favourite pub for food in maynooth and I'd go there often. Food is always very good and good value. Only con about this place for me is that the service isn't always great but I think this is due to understaffing and no critism to the actual waiting staff here.

Caulfield's Kildare 4.0 star review: Caulfields can be hit or miss but it is by far the best and cheapest pub grub in maynooth. i think perhaps one of their chefs has no idea what he is doing!! The decor is nice, love the piano! and all the staff are friendly and efficient. The burger, wraps, panini's and bruchetta are delicious. Its really good value for money. I've eaten here many times and will always go back!

I would definitley get food here again. The piano bar is a bit dark but I like the decor. It wouldnt be to everyones taste but its something a bit different

Don't like the black & white all over, and the lighting is too harsh. Not my kind of pub. The food was good, though.

Caulfield's Kildare 3.0 star review: Food is decent for pub grub and the back piano bar looks good but I've been on a Sunday when the place is full and the service is terrible! The last time I ate there my order was supposed to come with a side of vegetables and after waiting for ten minutes the girl didn't return with it so I reminded her, five minutes later it still hadn't come so I explained to another girl that I was waiting for it for fifteen minutes and she never came back so I gave up paid and never went back!
