Chapter 40 is my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is amazing, fresh, beautifully presented and tastes amazing. The atmosphere is just lovely and relaxing. and the customer service is brilliant. I have gone here many times and this restaurant consistently has top quality food and customer service. Can't wait to go back and experience the great tasting food again.

What an amazing restaurant. Excellent on all counts. Most importantly the food was fantastic. Scallops to start, followed by mushroom risotto and a brownie to finish. Each dish was presented elegantly and all bared evidence of the chef's creative mind and excellent palette balancing flavours and textures like a true artist. The restaurant had beautiful contemporary decor, including nice touches like mouthwash and toothpicks in the bathroom and a screen in the porch entrance showing the chef hard at work. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they knew their stuff about the menu, were enthusiastic about the food and very efficient. This restaurant was so good it had our conversation steering towards how long it would take to drive to Killarny regularly, and debating if a 6 hour round trip was too long for just a meal or should we consider moving closer!

Lovely atmosphere in here. Great Decor and the staff were fantastic, There is a bar at the front, so no need to stand in the doorway if your table isn't ready, where you can look straight in to the kitchen which really adds to the experience, I had a starter comprised of a variety of food from the starter menu, The waitress explained each piece of food and the presentation was excellent on a piece black slate and there was some really great taste combinations. For main course I had a selection of game, Venison, Rabbit, Mallard, the meat was fine but what made it stand out again was the food combinations, the flavors coming together made the the whole thing so much greater than the sum of it's parts. There is a real pride in here and I heard one of the staff telling a guest to drink away as he would drive him home after his meal. This restaurant being located in Killarney makes me very proud that foreign visitors are leaving this with a great impression of Irish cuisine and Hospitality.
