Staryed in hotel on 9th & 10th March on a voucher which included dinner in Elwoods. As soon as we arrived we had lunch in the bar which was very reasonable and very tasty. There was meant to be four of us but 1 person was unable to make it so the hotel said that the person sharing with her could use the second dinner voucher on the 2nd night. The other two of us enjoyed our meal so much on the 1st night, we decided to dine there again with our friend and were not disappointed. Wonderful food and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and in fact were given a discount voucher for a return visit which we will definitely use.

Went here when myself and my husband were in Galway last week. The food in the bar was gorgeous...really tasty albeit perhaps over priced a tad. We ate in the restaurant the next night and it was top knotch. The staff were very attentive and service great. Elwoods is part of the Forster hotel and it is a credit to them.

Had dinner here with Husband when on weekend in Galway last Month. Did not enjoy it at all, I had chicken wings and chipsjust wanted something light there was no taste to the wings at all the chips were not great either. My husband got the Burger he liked it. We would not go back again.
