The Dail Bar , Galway City

The Dáil Bar and Restaurant has already become a firm favourite to both Galway residents and visitors alike with its stunning décor that is both impressive and comfortable at the same time evoking a relaxed warm atmosphere that just draws you in like your favourite local. Situated on the intersection of Middle Street and Cross St right in the heart of the cities Latin Quarter, it really is a beautiful bar to visit. The name The Dáil was chosen because of the literal Irish translation which is “The Meeting Place”. The name describes the friendly warmth of the bar perfectly The Bar is open from 11am every day serving fresh baked scones until 12pm when full food service begins. The Dáil is also a restaurant serving top class food at Pocket friendly prices all day every day. The varied and enticing menu really does go above and beyond a traditional pub menu. While keeping firm favourites like their Traditional Beef and Guinness Stew, 10 oz Sirloin Steak and Fish and chips they have also added a selection of Pastas, Salads and vegetarian options. This is just a tiny selection from the traditional menu with a modern twist and the large range of daily specials are a firm favourite with local residents and workers! The menu also caters for those who want a lighter bite with healthy options and a large sandwich and wrap selection. The Dáil Bar is also a fresh vibrant venue for a night out The Dáil is already one of the most atmospheric venues in the city you get the feeling that it’s the place to be for a guaranteed great night out. The bar has an extensive wine menu, fabulous cocktails and a large selection of world beers to work your way through! With Live Music Sunday through Thursday and fantastic resident DJ’s on the weekend, make room in your social calendar to sample The Dáil Bar! Group bookings welcome with dinner, party food and Cocktail Party Packages available. For information or enquiries call 091 563 777.

nice lively bar and resturant, great athmosphere, lovely setting with the open fire, the only fault i have is that on every occasion that we eat there you have to ask for clean cutlery, last night after my starter my cutlery was left on my finished plate and the waitress told me to use the same dirty cutlery for me next course, i ask her for clean cutlery and was told you can only have one set of cutlery per seating, not acceptable
