What a fab hotel....We were passing here and decided to stop for a coffee..we had coffee and warm scones served with Jam & Cream in the bar which were the best scones ive ever had and excellent value..3 sones 2 coffees and a juice for €11.....had to return the next day for lunch which was also great..lovely waiter and very efficent,we arrived at 12 midday for lunch(up since 6 so not early to us)and even though they dont serve till half past they took the order and we got our food not long after...really impressed with the food ,service and value.

We had lunch for four here and the food was great, I had a chicken salad, which was not on the menu but there was no problem with a special order, others had the chowder, and a caesar salad. The Caesar salad was not overdressed and tasted devine. A very enjoyable lunch for all with a nice atmosphere, relaxed and inviting. We will be going back, a perfect lunch spot.

ate here recently restaurant decor is very 80's and all food comes with 80's style cress garnish which is very unecessary. however food was nice had salmon main with very nice and unusual yellow pepper sauce. wasnt as fresh as i would have thought it should be being so close to sea. overall food was ok, price 40 euro set menu reasonable. waitress was pleasant but atmosphere took some points away.
