This restaurant and pub has a nice atmosphere when you walk through the door. The specials are displayed on a large blackboard menu and there is a good selection of fresh seafood and stone baked pizzas with adventurous combinations of toppings. We decided to order sea bass with a red pepper mayonnaise and Irish stew. Both were really enjoyable and tasty, my only complaint about the sea bass was the tiny portion, as the dish was delicious and I would have eaten more. This does not seem to be typical of their portion sizes having also had a really good take away from their restaurant the night before. It was busy when we ate there but I don't think this was the reason for the slow service we received. The waitress who served us was polite without being friendly and when she came to clear our plates, left and didn't return to offer us coffee/dessert or the bill. We ended up calling another waiter to order. We overheard another lady at the next table telling the same waitress that the mussels she had were better than those in her native New Zealand, the response she got was "Oh right". Overall the food and atmosphere make up for the disinterested service.

They had all types on steaks on the menue but nothing was available - so ended myself up with a duck in cherry sauce and my girlfriend had a burger with chips. Portions are huge and food is decent. Nice athmosphere (live Irish music and Irish dancing even) and place was packed with tourists. Service was fine but received by mistake first the bill for the neighbour table.

Have came here a few times, and have never been disappointed! Top-notch food and service - most recently had the Chicken Kiev with "lashings of garlic butter" - was delicious!!
