We were staying in the hotel so it was handy to eat in the restaurant on the first night. The food was nice, but quite fussy. I would have preferred it served quickly instead of letting it cool down while they sprinkled parsley all over. And the veg served with the main course looked like it came from a packet of stir fry mix - I would not usually expect peppers and beansprouts to be served with rack of lamb and mash... The desserts at 8.95 are over-priced, for 2 scoops of ice cream that's ridiculous. On the other hand a bottle of the delicious house red wine is a steal at 21.95. It was rammed full at the weekend though so it seems popular!
