Was in clifden for a week, and went to Marconi's Twice. I had the mussels for starter, which came in a chilli and coconut broth. They were by far the best mussels i have ever had. The sauce is amazing, i drank all of it after finishing the mussels. I need to find that recipe! The fillet steak was great. I dont like red wine jus so i just had garlic butter and it was fab! Service is excellent. We had a 4 year old with us and they made him a kiddies meal before we all ate. Excellent place

Nice restaurant in middle of Clifden. Reccomended to book as busy. Service was a little slow and portions were a bit on the large side. Dishes themselves were tasty but a bit elaborate.

Have eaten here a few times, cosy romantic and intimate restaurant. Had the Salmon in pastry with spinach for mains and it was divine! the baby potatoes and al dente vegetables that accompanied it were mouth watering. My husband also had a seafood mains and it was equally as good, we both had starters and desserts also and they were all delicious! Well worth a visit and a big hit with locals for christmas parties as the food is sooooo good. Service was good too, plenty of checks on us and no delays. 10/10 all round.
