This is our default Restaurant. The medium hot General TSO chicken is a must try if you like your food spicy and don't be afraid to ask for extra chilli if you like it hot hot. Further if a meal is not stated with your choice of meat of vegetarian they will gladly accommodate your request. Nice clean nearly cafe modern style with added oriental touches which actually works. Nice friendly atmosphere and relaxed. Only minor gripe is that they can be overly efiient sometimes clearing away your plates but this usually only happens when it's very quite. Usually a red & white wine on offer or you can bring your own which is nice. Child friendly also for early starts. Menu does not change very often though. Over all an excellent experience.

My husband and I were staying in Oranmore for the weekend and as we love chinese food gave the royal villa a visit. The restuarant itself was very nice as were the staff and service. I was very disappointed with the food however. I had salted chillie chicken wings for starter but it was covered in peppers. I like peppers but there were far too many. for the quality of the whole meal we both thought that this was an expensive restuarant compared to chinese restuarants in our home locality, which have food of superior quality and keener prices.

Lovely resturant, good atmosphere. Lovely food. Portion sizes were just about average, starter could have had a little varied salad rather than a token lettuce leaf to fill the plate, but the ribs were good. Service was very slow, though I was assured by my friend this was not general. Overall a good experience. Beer was super chilled, always good
