Don't be put off by the colourful exterior to the restaurant - which looks like a casino of sorts!! This is one of the nicest seafood restaurants I have eaten in quite some time. I was visiting Galway from Dublin for new years with friends and we had fabulous meal. I had the prawns to start which were amazing while my boyfriend had oysters! The food is great. There are plenty of options for non-fish or seafood lovers here too. Great wine menu also ...although not a huge selection of wines by the glass. The best part of our dining experience in Oscar's was the friendly and attentive service. Oscar's is real value for money and I will definitely be going back on my next visit to Galway !

Have eaten here on a few occasions and it never lets you down. Some of the nicest food I've had in Galway. Particularly enjoyed the seafood. Staff are extremely friendly and are on the ball and the restaurant is a lot nicer than it looks from the outside! It costs a little more than other places but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Whenever I have visitors to Galway Oscar's is one of the first places I consider bringing them

The best Seafood restaurant in Galway if you ask me. The real menu at Oscars is the one on the black board which has the days catch and what a seafood selection. King & Queen scallops with razer fish, Local mussels (a huge portion) for only €14.50 which were the best I ever had not to mention the fish we never heard of but all landed at Galways ports. There was around 7 specials on the day we dined. Great selection of wines and the service was simply great. A really really great seafood restaurant
