What can I say we had a fabalous night . It was our mams birthday and myself and my sister were bringing her out as a treat. The staff were so helpful and attentive. We went for the weekend special menu which had a huge variety to suit all palets. My sister wasnt sure what sauce she wanted, so they brought her out a few sauce boats for her to taste so she could choose what main course to go for. We ordered our desserts and out came a candal on my mams cake , all the staff started singing along it was great. I had not asked for this so the attention to detail was very impressive . Being a head chef myself I can only commend everything about Aurora the staff and the food is a credit to the name. If you havent been I would highly recommened it.

This is a nice Chinese restaurant in Tyrrelstown. I ate here with my husband on a Thursday evening. The place was very quiet - I think there was only 2 other couples in the restaurant. We ate off the early bird menu which is fairly good value. We had the chicken satay and sweetcorn soup to start and were happy with both. I got the green chicken curry for the main and I wasn't impressed with it - just didn't have the right consistency so I ended up only eating a small portion (not like me at all!!). My husband had the chicken with black bean which was better but not so much to my liking. The setting is very nice and the service was very good but I was less impressed with the food than I thought I'd be.

We had a group of 8 here last night, mostly customers from the UK. We had a very good night, combination platter for 8 was excellent, particularly the prawn toast. All had different main courses so we got to try a lot of dishes, very good.
We'll be back and would not hesitate to use again for a night out.

Excellent service and a very high standard of food served. First time here in a while and it is still as good as ever. Even with the extensive menu on offer the staff are willing to adjust menus to suit your taste. Strongly recommend the chefs special of fillet beef in an exotic Mango sauce, it is excellent. Perfect amount of time between courses meant you could enjoy your meal and company without feeling rushed or overlooked, yet staff were always a glance away to attend. Very reasonable price, that also applies to the wine which was very nice. It was a little quiet for a Saturday night but no less than any other suburban restaurant. As an alternative to hitting the town for high end food this place is a dead cert. will be back shortly with friends.

After leaving a neighbouring restaurant due to crap service we went to Aurora for Sunday dinner and we were impressed as usual. Service is impeccable, food is fabulous and overall a lovely relaxing experience.

We have eaten in Aurora a few times over the past year. It never disappoints. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. They are happy to make recommendations and also tweak recipes to your liking. We would never have selected frog legs but the Maitre De recommended them and they were delicious and now a firm favourite. The quality of the food is always very high. They regularly have special offers which are very well priced. Over all highly recommended for quality and service.

Had the set menu with a group on Thursday just gone. €16 for a 3 course meal. Food was excellent and very generous portions. One of the options for dessert wasn't available and instead of limiting our options they offered a fantastic alternative. Hadn't eaten here for a while but will be back a lot sooner. Everything was superb.

The Aurora resturant is amazing. Myself and my family treat ourselves to the early bird menu when possible. The food, atmosphere, service and price is amazing. The staff are very attentive and see to your every need. I would drive far just to visit this resturant. I hope to go back as soon as possible and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal out.
