We offer great affordable casual dining in our Grill room steakhouse, with great bar food served all day every day in the Terrace bar and beer garden area. The original Georgian part of the building house is more than 280 years old. It has been lovingly restored and is now complimented by extensive dining facilities and terrace areas. The location is unique in the Browns Barn and Kingswood area of Dublin 22 and surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens We have three function areas that are ideal for any party or Family occasion. With a wide range of food options and menus to suit every pocket and taste. Accommodating up to 120 guests in the G-Room Suite suite, 150 guests in the terrace bar and Beer garden or for a more intimate event we can welcome 60 guests in the Kingswood Suite.

Booked here with my wife to take the mother-in-law out for Sunday Lunch near where she lived. Unfortunately we were located on the first floor having to take the lift and then down steps. Not great when an elderly person has a walking stick as an aid. Service was slow and place lacked atmosphere. There was a large party who had just arrived before us, in a room near us, which occupied the few staff available. The kitchen was not on the same floor. The food was palatable but did not stay hot for long, given the distance from kitchen to table. The veg went cold and after paying the bill, left almost full cold cups of coffee behind us. I won't be back.

Checked out this restaurant on one of my recent irish visits. The mood here is fantastic and set just the right atmosphere. Smiling staff is always nice and especially when they are as efficient as The Grill Room Staff. The hospitality was great and we felt like we were really well looked after. The food was unbelivablably delicious, with the steak being the best I’ve ever eaten. I’ve recommended The Grill Room to all of my Irish friends! Its definitely worth a visit!

The food wast nothing special. I asked for a rare steak but it arrived well done. The service was okay considering I think the place is very under-staffed. The floor staff seemed to be under a lot of pressure whilst the managers had a long and heated conversation in they're own language quite close to our table. I felt that instead of talking they could have been helping out. This could have been a once off incident but needless to say we didn't feel very comfortable while we eat our food and I will avoid this restaurant in the future.
