Dined here with 2 friends on a very quiet Wednesday night. There were less than 10 people in the pub. Our server informed us that nobody told her that there was a booking and that we were lucky it wasn't the Wednesday before as she had been very busy. They have an early bird option of 3 courses for €15.95. Two of us ordered the chicken and ham and one ordered the chicken caesar salad and chips. Our server returned to tell us that they had no ham left so we could have the dish without ham or order something else. I changed my order to the beef and asked if I could still have some stuffing. We all received very large portions and were given separate plates of stuffing and veg to share. I asked for a doggy bag to take away the left-overs as we were unable to finish. We all enjoyed our meals, my beef was delicious as was the stuffing and the chip I took from my friend. Two of us partook of the profiteroles which were served on a bed of cream which was a bit too much and the third had banoffi which looked like it was two portions. All in all portions more than generous and very reasonable. Would recommend and would return.

We stopped in here one saturday afternoon for a bite to eat the place was packed always a good sign. I ordered the monkfish and prawn sizzler it was gorgeous so nice and big lumps of fish I was stuffed after it. My husband ordered the cajun burger which looked lovely and was presented so nice but he said it was dripping in grease it tasted like it had just come out of the fryer. In saying that we will be back is a great spot for a family or just for two.

I've been there loads of times, but last time was the day after mother's day. Four of us ordered off the early bird and we got dinner and dessert, with one of us getting just a main. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Piping hot and it came quick. My mam got the apple pie, which she was told was an individual pie, but it was very obvious that they had bought it in frozen and just defrosted it. Service was excellent and can't be faulted and I know that we'll be back again!

Great place for food and atmosphere. The carvery on a Sunday is the best in Clondalkin and their early bird deals are great value.

Had dinner and drinks here last night with family. It was quiet inside but it seems a nice enough pub. Staff came straight over to offer us drinks. We ordered 3 starters and 4 mains including food from the early bird which runs up to 8pm. The early bird is great value for the food you get. Parents had been here before and enjoyed it and I found it really nice too. Portions are huge and food tastes great and is fresh. We tried the thai red curry, cajun chicken salad, cajun chicken burger and battered cod. Dinner and 2 rounds of drink for 4 people came in under 100 euro which we found great value. None of us could finish our mains and all really enjoyed the food. They also do a good deal of a pint of budweiser and a burger for 10 euro during premiership games which is great value considering the size and quality of the burger/chips. Will probably go back with friends for that offer
