Les Freres Jacques 4.8 star review: We ate here for my wife's birthday last sat.. It was fabulous. Service was great, from the moment I booked to the moment we paid. Great selection of wine and the rock oysters were so fresh. Very happy we decided to eat here. We were a party of 6 and it came to €75 per head - excluding the birthday girl of course- we were well watered and fed.. Be back for sure.

Les Freres Jacques 5.0 star review: I visited here last Saturday night with my boyfriend. We were using a menupages voucher.
The staff of this restaurant are so welcoming and friendly. They seemed to love their jobs! Everyone dining was really relaxed. We were there for almost two and a half hours and I didn't even realise until we had left.
For soup we had sweetcorn and chorizo, it was tasty and creamy, but the portion size meant it was not to heavy. We ate our bread as soon as we sat down, we were ravenous after work. They offered us another immediately. I had salmon to start which was so tasty. My boyfriend had the pork hock, which he loved. We both had the beef sirloin. It melted in my mouth! It was served with chips and veg. The chips were a let down. Really skinny and fried. Just not for me.For desert we had creme caramel, which was good.
We had a bottle of merlot, and the staff were happy to let us savour it and didn't try to hurry us.
I really enjoyed this meal, the service is excellent and the food is really special!

Les Freres Jacques 5.0 star review: I hadn't been here for a number of years and I'm happy to say it's still as good as ever. Without doubt this is the best value menupages deal ever - we had a superb 4 course dinner for 2 in this well established, top notch restaurant for €38.50. Throw in an excellent bottle of Pinot Noir for €26 and we were all done for €65 before the tip. Grab it while you still can!

Les Freres Jacques 4.0 star review: My girlfriend bought a deal voucher for Les Freres Jacques and treated me for my 30th birthday. Lovely intimate venue. Service was first class. Food was good - however not the haute cuisine i would expect from a top quality French restaurant. Overall we were happy with our meals & would recommend

Les Freres Jacques 4.5 star review: Went here with a family member using a Boards deal.A most enjoyable and relaxing evening!
We were seated in an upstairs room. Tables were well spaced, traditional white table clothes and napkins. Room may be a little austere.
Food was very good indeed. We started with soup which was tomato with semolina. Excellent flavor and comforting on a winter night. I had main course of steak , which I struggled to finish but greed came to my aid. Family member had hake, which was a thick piece of fish and I was told it tasted as good as it looked.
Desserts equally good. The menu is not huge- which I always find reassuring, but plenty of choice . Food tends to be classic French. Wine list is massive!
The service was really first class and the staff were friendly and professional.
Quite expensive but given quality of food and service it is value for money.
Watch out for the special offers as they are very good value. Will certainly be back.

Les Freres Jacques 5.0 star review: My second time to eat here.Ate here today with my dining club. I was the first in the party to arrive. I was straight away shown to a lovely upstairs dining area and offered a drink on seating. This is an area where so many eateries fall down. Service was faultless throughout. I had a tomato soup for starter followed by fillet steak done in pastry. For desert I had a chocolate marquise. The food was fantastic. Overall a most enjoyable evening and I got to speak french too . I would highly recommend a visit here.

Les Freres Jacques 4.5 star review: Great night out here with the wife and two friends. Top notch French fare at decent value. Downstairs is a little tight on space but the friendly service makes up for the lack of intimacy! Will be back for sure.

Les Freres Jacques 4.5 star review: I went here for my birthday and I have to say it was top notch. It is definitely more for a treat as it is expensive, but every aspect of the meal was great from the service to the food and wine.

Les Freres Jacques 5.0 star review: I returned after an absence of 10+ years. I really enjoyed it, as I always used to. The sole meuniere is worth a visit on its own. Excellent food, excellent service. The a la carte is not cheap but still decent value for what we got - there are "value" options available. It won't be 10 years till my next visit. If a special occasion arises on a Monday or Tuesday it is a no brainer for me, 50% off all wines means you can get superb wines that I couldn't normally justify ordering on a meal out, at house wine prices.

Les Freres Jacques 5.0 star review: Les Freres Jacques is easily my favourite restaurant in Dublin. I come here very often and both the food and service are exemplary. Being a traditionally French restaurant, all the waiters are French and friendly and charming. The quality of the fish in this place exceeds any restaurant nearby, the sole being a particualr favourite. I once had a carrot puree brulee with scrambled egg and a parmesan twist as a starter that was just so interesting and tasty. The table d'hote menu for four courses at €35 is beyond reasonable and with half price wines on monday and tuesday, its a firm midweek favourite. I cant stress enough the value of this restaurant and the quality of the food.
