Ate here last night with my husband. Had a voucher which made the meal very reasonable. Otherwise would have found it quite expensive as fillet steak / surf and turf all around €27 - far too much for a casual steak house. Having said that, the food was very nice. Pate to start, followed by surf and turf, then the junkyard cheesecake - all very tasty. Steak well done as requested and really tender. Only complaint - garlic roast potatoes - definitely not as described. Tasted more like boiled new potatoes. Staff nice and friendly. Would return if I had a voucher. They do have an Early Bird menu every night which seems like good value.

A very pleasant dining experience .Great atmosphere staff very friendly and welcoming in particular our waitress who looked after us very well .Food was excellent .Would have no problem recommending JDS and hope to return very soon .

Went for Sunday Brunch last week and we were very disappointed with our meal. We were seated straight away which was great, then waited a good while before someone took our order. Cappuccinos were ordered and eventually delivered to our table. It was obvious that they were sitting there for a while as they were lukewarm and the foam on the top did not look fresh at all.
After our Brunch (which by the way we did not receive everything that was included in our vouchers), we sat there for a good 30 mins before we left, where no one asked if we wanted anything else, or even if we enjoyed our meal. Dirty dishes were also left in front of us, without anyone attempting to remove them.
The food was not great at all, I could have done better myself.
I would have liked to have enjoyed our visit and maybe gone for dinner (where the good reviews are) but after this time I don't think we will be back.

Visited on a Menu Pages deal. Food excellent. Service Excellent. Chicken wings starter. Surf and Turf and Chicken Diavola - all delicious. Desserts a bit small. Overall a fantastic meal - we will be returning soon.

We visited JDs Steakhouse on what was probably the coldest night of the year, yet the atmosphere and the welcome really warmed us up! The food was really good, and the portion size ensured that we certainly didn't go home hungry.
