The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 3.0 star review: We had booked for a Communion. We ordered from the Restaurant menu and were sat in the lounge. We were sat and the waitress did not even take a drinks order. When she did come back it was take the food order which I thought was odd we ended up going to the bar to order the drinks ourself. The fillet steak is €25 and way overpriced for sitting in a pub lounge although the portions of everyones meal were huge. The steaks come on a stone which stay piping hot and you cook your own - for €25???? If you are wearing nice clothes make sure they're covered up as the meat splashes when cooking and make sure you have no small ones near your plate as it's so hot. The food was delicious and the portions were large but presented oddly for eg. chips came in a deep fat fryer basket and my cheesecake same in a glass jar with a lid. The service was only ok. My Dad was told 3 times that they'd be back with his tea and when it arrived in a white tea pot, the spout was brown with tea stains. Nobody went away feeling empty or in any way annoyed by lunch but it was not memorable and if they intend charging so much for lounge food then they need to up their standards or reduce their prices. For this reason, I won't be rushing back

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 5.0 star review: love this place we all had starters and mains and 3 desserts it came to about 100e so that was good i think the chicken wings for starter was massive and not too hot and spicy also then we all had a different kind of burger dont tink any of us even spoke during the mains lol ..and desserts were also lovely will be defo going again soon highly recommend .

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 3.5 star review: The opening Q should always be will you come back. A big Yes. The overall package was great. We were a table of 7 adults & a baby (aged 1) and all 8 left happy. The restaurant were more than happy to organise a dinner for the baby and took care of the rest of us. The Thai Curry was a little disappointing but in isn't a curry house - so to be expected. All the other dishes were superb - Prawns, Steak & Dubliner Burger with tasty side dishes. The serving of chips is done very well and should be noted by other restaurants. The only neg might be that the Belfast Blonde beer wasn't available. We'll be back. Thanks.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 3.5 star review: Came here for my work Christmas party. While the food was ok it was nothing to write home about so I was slightly disappointed. The steak/duck on a stone is a novel idea but both meats were quite bland in taste and my colleagues' steak looked quite fatty. The chicken wings starter was very tasty as was the deep fried brie. Wouldn't be rushing back as found the staff a bit pushy/rude. However I probably would return if I was looking for some simple pub grub. The place was packed which suggests that the food is usually better than it was on this occasion.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 5.0 star review: I live quite near to The Step Inn so it's always been our family's "go-to" place for family occasions.

We came in last weekend for our own daughters christening and the service, staff and food were all impeccable! From the moment I made the reservation they were really helpful and made sure things went according to plan for us on our daughters special day.

Every single person at the party commented on the high standard of the food - which is a really nice compliment when you are throwing a party!

The price was very reasonable and because it was a big function they gave us a really great discount. I've already booked for my sons communion in May - one less thing to worry about

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 4.0 star review: 4 of us came here for lunch last saturday. We all enjoyed the food, it was nothing special but good for pub grub. The dining area could do with a bit of a spruce up but ok for a bite to eat. Would come back but not in a huge hurry.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant 5.0 star review: ate here last night with 5 others and i we all agreed that the food is really good value for what you get, the early bird is €16.50 for 2 courses, try the fish cakes which by all accounts were really good as were the burgers but beware the thai green curry is quite spicy.
Waitress service was excellent and the call button facility on the tables is a great idea, all in all good service,value and food.

Very hard to fault this place, the food is good the service is very good and they are so on the ball with Music and Quiz nights, they really know how to move with the times and what the customers want.
