Itsa4 4.5 star review: Had a very enjoyable experience in this restaurant.
We went in for a coffee at a very busy time. They did not have any issue about the fact that we were spending little - yet using up a table at a busy time.
Coffee was fabulous. My friend had some unusual tea which she found great. If I was to have any issue - it is that now days most coffee shops give a complimentary tiny biscuit with the tea and coffee - this was not available here. Now this is a very small thing but would be very easy to rectify.
Service was great, efficient and friendly. Value for money was great. We will be back.

Itsa4 4.5 star review: Went here on Sunday for Brunch with three friends. Weather was great so we sat outside. Service was excellent and the food was really good.

Itsa4 2.0 star review: Last week we visited ITSA4 with our two young children and found the whole experience very disappointing. We waited an eternity for our food and the children got impatient - which in turn irritated the maitre d' (as in other reviews she does not seem happy at the best of times). The menu is a disappointment and we left four disappointed local customers vowing not to return. This restaurant has huge potential and Domini Kemp needs to take a grip on it and make the changes necessary so that it produces the food that we read about in the Irish Times weekly. PS - the kids food was lovely.

Itsa4 3.0 star review: I'm a big fan of Domini Kemp and her weekly column in the Irish Times, so I was glad to finally try this place. I could not have been more disappointed though - the food was bland beyond belief. The White Bean and Truffle Soup was, well, generally tasteless with barely any truffle oil in it and was even slightly bitter. The Asian Chicken Salad was, well, boringly bland and the side of limp, faded Asparagus in Anchovy Butter even worse. The by-the-glass wine menu is shockingly disappointing with bottom-of-the-barrel offerings of cheap supermarket labels. Service was nice and friendly, but my God this place has some serious work to do.

Itsa4 2.0 star review: Having completed a 2 hour walk from Sandymount Green to the lighthouse and back this afternoon I was more than ready for a late lunch when my walking partner suggested Itsa4. I jumped on the idea as I'm a fan of Domini Kemp and had never tried Itsa4. We were told it was a 10 minute wait for a table which we quickly agreed to and rested our tired legs on the lovely chairs at the door. I was a little surprised when a quick trip to the bathroom revealed at least 3 empty tables. As time passed by the two waitresses ambled around the restaurant slowing cleaning tables, chatted and generally ignored us. When we were eventually seated, the same waitress proceeded to clean the table next to us by spraying copious amounts of some type of cleaner onto the table. Tiny droplets of the cleaning fluid wafted in our direction - we both started to sneeze. Lunch was tasty I think (difficult to tell when you have inhaled cleaning fluid) but I wouldn't go back. I'd recommend the walk to the lighthouse though - Dublin Bay sparkled and the view back to the Dublin mountains was pretty beyond belief!

Itsa4 3.0 star review: Myself and two friends went for dinner on Wed evening. It was quiet but I suppose most places are. The service was good with friendly staff but the food was mediocre. We had the early bird which was €20 for starter and main. Ham hock salad starter was tasty but the choices were limited. There were only 4 choices for the main and I picked the burger which was dry and boring served with greasy, soggy chips. Not a bad experience but not what I expect from Itsa4 as I've been before and it's been much better

Itsa4 4.5 star review: Visited here last sunday afternoon, cold and starving after a match in the landsdowne stadium. Two of us got exactly what we wanted with no undue fuss. I had the special, which was the steak and my girlfriend the burger. Both were delicious and I'd happily return.

Itsa4 2.0 star review: Please bring back the old Chef and the waiters!!!!! Went there recently and the food is different, ingredients are definitely not of the same quality or maybe this is due to the cooking...not as tasty and honest as before- This last visit left me confused....The crab salad tasted of orange juice (not of a nice citrus flavour) and the maitre D....if i can call her like this was rude. Not rushing back....:-(

Itsa4 3.0 star review: The food was nice but the starter portions left a little to be desired.

I had the prawns to start. I was really disppointed when 4 tiny prawns came out on the plate. I don't expect loads of prawns but these were tiny frozen prawns.

The mains were very nice. We had Cod on crab risotto which was very tasty and rigatoni with roast squash and spinach in a parmesan and cream sauce. The pasta was gorgeous.

The atmosphere wasn't great but it was a Tuesday night so that's not the fault of the restaurant. The service was prompt and very friendly.

Itsa4 3.0 star review: was there with some friends after the cricket match between oz and Ireland, needed some food after all those beers.

My friend booked this restraunt as he loves his steaks and said this place was a great spot.

We both had steaks with fries and a bottle of bordeaux.

Steaks were ok, I asked for mine medium to rare and I recieved it rare which I was not too happy about but my friend recieved his steak to perfection. Was waiting an extra half an hour for my steak to arrive the second time.
There was no apology either.

Wine very nice. Staff ok, could be a bit more efficient as we were waiting half an hour also for our bill to arrive.

atmosphere could be improved. Food a little over priced for what you get.

Would not go back unfortunetely.
