Very enjoyable meal. Two very good starters. two very good pizzas. The wine is expensive, but any I was familiar with were very well priced and they have a great selection. Card machine failure on payment resulted in a double payment and could have been handled better, but not worth losing a star over. I will be back.

excellent food and service, good value and atmosphere. And while it is great to have the stone oven in the same room, the place was absolutely roasting. our entire party left sweating profusely.

We usually love this restaurant but had a bad experience tonight. Service in particular was awful. We waited 30 minutes before we were offered a drink or before anyone attempted to take our order. This was despite trying to get the attention of various staff who were all too busy or ignored us. nWhen the food finally came it wasn't up to the restaurants usual standards, the pizzas were burnt and scantily topped compared to normal. In fact all the pizzas we saw at tables around us looked pretty burnt which is unusual considering all the awards Manifesto claims to have won for their pizza. nAdded to the disappointing food the new restaurant lay out which squashes in far too many tables for the space makes the dining experience a little too cosy .. Fine if you want to join in your neighbours conversations otherwise not too enjoyable. We won't be visiting Manifesto again for a while, which is disappointing as it used to be a local favourite.

Love this restaurant! I could be a little biased as it is on our doorstep in Rathmines but the food and atmosphere make for a great evening and it all topped off by the lovely staff who go out of their way to make your evening very special!

Popped into Manifesto a couple of days ago for a pizza. Looks very run down from the outside but it was packed inside, despite being fairly pricey, so we thought hey hey, must have found a hidden gem here. We ordered a couple of pizzas (Don Corleone and a Margherita with peppers, tomato, onion, and mushroom) and a half carafe of white wine. Disappointingly, it was a let down. The Don Corleone (apparently Ireland's best pizza in 2011 and an Italian favourite) involved a little cheese, pieces of a kind of Italian herb sausage and some spinach and, lacking any tomato base, it was pretty much tasteless. The other pizza suffered a similar lack of cheese, slimy veggies, and was also very so-so (a little bit tastier). The pizza bases were nice, as was the wine (€20 for half a carafe of house white is pretty steep though - that'd be €30 for a full bottle). Service was ok, if a bit slapdash. All in all, a very ordinary experience. We won't be rushing back. A shame!

I always tell people if they're looking for good pizza Manifesto is the place to go. I was in here recently with my girlfriend and my parents and yet again it didn't fail to deliver. We ordered 2 of the 25€ deals, sharing the starters, and then had a pizza each for our mains. The portion sizes are very generous so this was more than enough. The Italian red wine we had was very nice too.

If you're looking for a classy pizza parlour in the D6 area, look no further. The selection, ingredients and presentation are all excellent, as is the atmosphere. If you're after pasta or other Italian staples, it doesn't quite deliver though. It can also feel quite cramped on busy nights.

Don't use their online booking ! I booked online from their website, got a confirmation email and when I showed up with 3 friends the booking hadn't made it into the calendar. They handled it really badly, I could show them the email on phone. Disastrous customer service, they made no effort to apologise or accomodate us.

What a disappointment! Some work colleagues have been bouncing around the idea of getting a group together to visit Manifesto - I will not be joining them! We had high expectations having read the menu presented on their website. The reality is that Manifesto is a glorified pizza parlour who attempt to serve other dishes as an after thought. We ordered the prawn and avocado and spinach and scallops as starters. Both dishes were under whelming. The proliference of the cheaper elements of the dish(avocado and spinach) was disappointing. One or at a push two scallops sliced to give the appearance of more smacked of rip off at €12 a plate! Ditto for the prawns at €11. Mains followed the same approach as starters - Chicken with a mountain of spinach and a rib eye steak served blue as requested, but sinewy betraying insufficient preparation. Again in my opinion overpriced. Dessert of chocolate fondant (not souffle as described) was exceptional. For drinks two Bellini's without sparkle and two small glasses (glasses are large the volume of wine was lost in them) of Merlot at €7 a glass represented bad value for money. Staff were adequate at best.
