Wi-Fi hot spot! Veggie options available Take away service Luscious Dublin Bay prawns, succulent oysters, melt in the mouth mussels, mouth-watering mackerel…just some of the delicious seafood you’ll find on menus around Ireland.

Irish people love to eat seafood when dining out; in fact, unlike our European neighbours, we eat more seafood outside the home. Perhaps this is a testament to the quality of our seafood restaurants. And for many visitors, a trip to Ireland wouldn’t be complete without sampling a few oysters and sinking a pint of the black stuff. Very good location, interesting selection of good Italian food and good service. Somewhat overpriced though, but hey - it's in Ranelagh, besides the Luas and has good quality Italian food, so what would you expect? :) Would like to see more variety in starters.

Eight of us had a fantastic night in Pinocchio for a special birthday celebration. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their starters and mains (we had birthday cake for afters). We had Bruschetta, Baby Octopus and Mackeral (in lieu of the grilled sardines) for our first courses. The only complaint? The mackeral was very bony which took away from my enjoyment. The waitress recommended gnocchi for the main course and three of us went with her suggestion. Good choice! Absolutely gorgeous. The other mains-the only ones which I can remember were Pasta with grilled chicken and tomato sauce- were all demolished so must have been good too. The waitress also made excellent wine suggestions. This was our second visit for a birthday celebration and it could well become THE place to go for family parties.

Excellent experience, we were seated in a snug which suited perfectly on this occasion as we were meeting friends for a chat.

The food was good - I had an antipasti to start and sausage & beef skewer for a main. my friend had a really yummy bean and sausage soup with a salmon main. the ricotta cheesecake was just ok but that was my fault - i knew italians dont do baked cheesecake! after moving to ireland from italy 2 yrs ago i can say that this is the only place i ve found food that i was happy with in an italian restaurant BUT the service was a bit lacking. we did wait awhile to have our order taken in a near empty restaurant (we were one of 3 tables) as the two staff members were more interested in their personal conversation than anything else. we also had to ask for the early bird menu, which i didnt like. if you dont want people to order off an early bird then dont make one available. all in all it was good.

Without doubt the best Italian restaurant in Dublin. The quality of food is like in a michelin star restaurant, probably better. Thanks to my Italian friend to have showed me this great place! Nice pics in the latest review, well done!

Excellent place that I never knew of. Went for lunch today and we had a couple of Panini, salads and caprese with coffee. This is a lovely place with top produce, I recommend the Pinocchio's cakes and biscuits....very tasty. Compared to other cafe's around the area it cant be beaten for quality and the coffee is great too. The waitress was really nice with us. Love it
