La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 5.0 star review: Absolutey fantastic. My Girlfriend and I decided last minute to go out at 8pm on a Friday night, arrived at the door of La Bodega and hey presto we were seated. NONE of the old usual nonsense about booking etc etc. We ate very well and had a glass of wine each and a seven-up. Total 53 euro and we were both totally satisfied and full up.My girlfriend is a really fussy eater and was able to pick various dishes to her liking. In fact we are going back before Christmas with some friends my treat. The staff were soooooo helpful and friendly and willing to explain everything about the menu. One of the other comments on this page is a bit unjust, but everyone has their own opinion. But there again they probably pay 25 euro for a fillet steak and call that value for money!!!!!! Trust me.... try this place its cool.

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 1.0 star review: Don’t Bother, Disappointing and Overpriced
It was impossible to get through on the phone as they only answered after 5pm at which point we were told they don’t take bookings for small groups, it’s just walk-ins, which is fine until we arrived at about 8 we had to wait until 9.15 to be seated and there was nowhere to wait. While the menu is broad, the food was barely average and not authentic. It’s the same poor ingredients re-hashed in different ways under the broad term ‘tapas’. The dishes were disappointing, very salty and overpriced for what you got. Some of the portions were decent but the dish itself disappointing, like the meatballs, where obviously they try to make up for their shortcomings with quantity rather than quality. The seafood was the biggest disappointment; all of it was overcooked making everything rubbery. We all tried a few different wines by the glass, all red, all average. The service was fine. The vibe of the place is strange, initially it looks like a tapas restaurant but once you are inside it feels a little thrown together, like it’s someone’s first attempted at opening a restaurant, which after our meal made more sense. Two tapas dishes and one glass of wine set me back 25 quid, I was left still a bit hungry and very disappointed. My opinion, don’t bother with this place; there are so many other great places nearby. Take your money and get better food, better wine, better and atmosphere and go somewhere else instead.

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 3.5 star review: Perhaps it was our choices in Tapas, but I felt it could have been nicer. The two things my GF chose were delicious in fairness (chorizo in wine, and deep fried goats cheese) but the chicken skewers, chorizo + chickpeas, and meatballs were only alright. The booze was good value and we enjoyed some nice Cava

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 5.0 star review: This is a great place - the sign outside assures you it's real Spanish tapas cooked by Spanish chefs and I would believe it.
The atmosphere is really cosy and the wine list is great.
I loved the chorizo and chickpeas, I wouldnt normally like either black pudding or scallops but I was coerced into trying these ones and they're actually amazing.

Highly reccommended.

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 4.0 star review: Great food, great wine list, great atmosphere, ok service. Went with a group so tried a good few tapas including chicken wings, meatballs, chicken skewers, chorizo with chickpeas, patatas bravas and spanish omelette, all really good. I don't like seafood so I loved that they had a really great selection of non-seafood tapas which a lot of tapas restaurants don't have.

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 5.0 star review: Had dinner there on Sat, unfortunately they only take booking for 6+. Such a lovely tapas place. Had the prawn pil pil, potato+chorizo, chicken wings. Each plate was nicely done. Highly recommend!

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 2.0 star review: Went on a girls night out during the week, it was busy enough. We expected a wide selection of wines, but not for glasses only, which I found quite strange for a wine-tapas bar.
The differences in size between tapas and raciones wasnt so huge, the food was too salty and I really wouldnt reccomend it, not even for a drink.

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 4.0 star review: We decided to eat in La Bodega one Friday night. We were told after a telephone enquiry that there was no reservations taken, to just call in. We arrived at approx 8.15pm but could not get a table for 4 until 9pm. Despite being extremely hungry we decided to go for a drink and return at 9. The resturant was buzzing and full to capacity. The lighting is dim and sets a relaxed atmosphere despite the hustle. The menu is quiet extensive and very reasonably priced (apart from the olives for some reason). The food was magnificent. We shared our dishes, remaining true to Spanish tradition. This really is the best way to fully enjoy the variety of foods as it is all so tasty you will want to try as much as possible!! We could not believe the bill amounted to just over €80 for the four of us which included a bottle of red wine, a desert to share, extra bread and the expensive olives!! Well worth a return visit!!

La Bodega Tapas y Vinos 4.0 star review: Came on a very busy Saturday night with my sister. The atmosphere was great but as the restaurant was packed to capacity, it was a little squashed. Tables should definitely be removed from the centre of the floor. Having never eaten tapas before, I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a nice selection of tapas and had a generous glass of wine each. Lovely portions of food, men would need to order a sizable amount of tapas for a full meal but for my sister and I, it was a nice amount of food but not leaving you too full. Fig dessert is to die for....and healthy too! I would definitely go back to La Bodega for a brilliant girls night venue but I'm not sure if my boyfriend would enjoy the small tapas portions as much. Staff were just brilliant and so attentive. Look forward to returning
