Had brunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The service was terrible. We ordered, and then waited 15 minutes for coffees that were finished, when our dishes arrived out, almost a half an hour after ordering. My eggs benedict was nice, but my partner ordered the steak & eggs, which for almost €20, was a total joke. It was a tiny portion, not to mention both of our dishes were only luke warm. I wouldn't return.

The restaurant had a warm, welcoming atmosphere with excellent service. We tried the restaurant's surprise tasting menu that offered five very tasty dishes. It contained a particular dish, foie gras creme caramel, that was the most outstanding to me, served with mushroom ice-cream, which was both in texture and taste, high above expectations. In overall, I found the experience an occasion to be repeated for sure.

The service was brilliant. It was a Thursday evening and although we had our meal booked for 6:30 the restaurant was very quiet but by the time our mains arrived it was heaving. The food was a little disappointing as was a bit over done but the staff were great and the wine was lovely.

What a fantastic experience. One that I will never forget. The food was excellent. The staff were fantastic. The ambiance really special. If I had to say anything negative it would be that its a pity its a bit expensive because I would love to go there more often. Having said that you get what you pay for. We loved it!

It was my first time at Brioche but I'm pretty sure it won't be my last. Tucked away just off the main drag of Ranelagh this small, charming restaurant offers exceptionally well executed dishes that show innovation and imagination at work in the kitchen. We chose the Tasting Menu available on the evening which I notice from the website has already changed completely even though we were there only five days ago. I really liked the stylish Art Nouveau and Art Deco mix of the interior and the overall relaxed French-style ambience. As well as the remarkable food, there is a concise and well priced wine list, with wine pairing options for the Tasting Menu. Service was friendly, efficient and thoroughly professional, highlighted by the lack of drama in dealing with an embarrassing glass smashing incident at our table.

Had a lovely meal here with a friend - had the tasting menu which was very nice. Not sure if I would have paid the full price for it - we had a coupon. For me the restaurant's main selling point are their staff - really lovely, especially Rajat - a total gentleman.

Quality of food was good, well what you'd expect from a fine dinning restaurant. But the good things all stop there. The portions were micro sized. Two tiny bite sized pieces of crab for starter and half a Duck Breast for main. Our group had to get more food after the meal !!! The staff were overly nice and hoovered around us all the time. With stiff competition in the area I can't see this restaurant lasting too long unless they reconsider there portion size or run a groupon all the time.

Two of us went with the vouchers, excellent meal and a very nice selection of tasting plates. I had the wine that went with the tasting( Euro 35) but on return will pick my own. Bought two more vouchers and looking forward to returning.

I rarely if ever write a review after eating out but felt I must give credit where it's due. Last night in Brioche we had wonderful food, very warm and caring service, and a lovely atmosphere. The attention to detail with everything was outstanding, particularly when it came to special dietary requirements. I will be back.
