Bistro Martello 5.0 star review: 4 of us ate in this restaurant on saturday night for a friends birthday. the staff were very attentive and made an effort to mention the birhday with a candle at dessert. nice touch.we order pate and calamari for starters and all were perfect. for main course 2 of us ordered off the specials for that day which were tuna with lemon risitto and monksfish with crushed pototoes and the others ordered chicken. we all had desserts and a very good value bottle of wine just a pity not more choices with wine menu.i will definately returning to this lovely little restaurant in a great location just to try out all the other amazing seafood we saw going to other tables. just one thing though plesae fix locks on toilet doors.

Bistro Martello 4.5 star review: Four of us had dinner here last night. We ordered off the a la carte, but the set-menu did look good value. My calamari were perfect, not rubbery and beautifully presented. I had Tuna with a lemon risotto..amazing tastes. Warm almond tart finished it off perfectly. The wine list is small but we had a really nice bottle. Service was really friendly. Location is lovely for a walk along the prom after dinner. As with many nice restaurants...the toilets are a let-down. No locks on the doors, old, and just not what I was expecting after such a nice restaurant. That said, I will be going back soon to try their other dishes.

Bistro Martello 5.0 star review: This was our third time to return to Bistro Martello with a voucher. The service was great and the food was amazing. The restaurant was half empty which I found a bit worrying for a Saturday night, I do hope they are doing okay and will be sure to return the next time without a voucher as the food is well worth the full price.

The empty tables worked out well for us however, as we had our pick of where we'd like to sit. I had the kidneys to start, something I hadn't tried before and they were delicious. For my main I had the seafood skillet which comes out sizzling, it was absolutely beautiful. Best meal I've had in a long time. For dessert I had the chocolate brownie with ice cream - the brownie was served warm, which I loved, and didn't have big chunks of nut in it like they do in lots of other places so I was very pleased.

We also treated ourselves to two glasses of prosecco for €12 and a bottle of wine. We lingered a good while after and were encouraged to take our time finishing our wine. Really felt very comfortable and relaxed, we were the second last table to leave and I don't think either table felt any push to get us out the door at the end of the night.

Great restaurant, will definitely be returning to pay full price next time.

Bistro Martello 4.5 star review: Would recommend this Bistro without hesitation. Staff very helpful and friendly.
All of our party enjoyed their food without complaint. I was delighted to see
kidney's on the menu. We were on a deal voucher and it was great to be told
pick your choice from the menu. Am looking forward to a return visit.

Bistro Martello 4.5 star review: We dined here recently on the back of a voucher received as a present and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and our helpful server went through the menu & specials with us in detail and the recommedations he gave us certainly lived up to his description. It is defintely worth a visit and we will return in the next little while.

Bistro Martello 5.0 star review: Last night was our 3rd time eating in Martellos in 2 months and once again we could not fault anything. The meal was delicious, the service excellent friendly and
welcoming. The restaurant is so well situated on the Dun Laoghaire seafront with plenty of parking options. Will most definitely be going regularly.
