I called on Friday evening in a party of four. The restaurant was bury and there was a good atmosphere. Three dined from the Al a carte menu and the fourth had the dinner menu. I had the goat's chees mousse to start and the rib eye steak as a mains. Both were excellent, the steak done perfectly, and for dessert the apple crumble was also top class. My dining partners had fish cakes, venison and chicken and all were really happy with both the food and the presentation. The service was to a high standard. We felt the price at around 30-35 euro each for three courses, without drinks, to be reasonable. Highly recommended.

Sunday lunch at The Arch was an enjoyable experience for all 6 diners - and excellent value for money. Service efficient and friendly. The food is really good - Roast Lamb with Roasted Veg especiallly so (supplement charged) as was the Fish n Chips. Starters & desserts also impressed. Don't let the fact that this restaurant is situated over a pub put you off - it truly is worh visiting, We certainly plan to return again and again.

Had lunch here last Thursday with my sister and son .It was after 2pm so it was very quiet,. We chose to hsve 2 starters each French Onion Soup - new receipe - not quite as delicious as usual. Then both my sister and I had the pate, which was absolutely delicious, My son had the ham hock with black pudding which was mouth watering. A rich chocolate orange mouse amd black forrest trifle followed and I finished with coffee and the lightest buttery shortbread biscuits, The service was excellent. The lunch menu is varied and the food is consistantly very good. Great Value AND TO TOP IT ALL we were not charged for the soup because we werent 100% happy with it. Definitley in my top 3 restaurants for lunch
