Went to Rolys on Tuesday night. It was very busy but we were seated and given our menus. The food was delicious. We had vouchers, the menu selection was great as there was excellent choice in all sections. Will go again soon.

Service was slow, not co-ordinated I.e. Salads, veg. arrived minutes after main course served, as was the wine.

Went with my partner for an after Christmas treat and boy was it a treat. It was a crisp but pleasant Saturday afternoon in January when we visited. We were treated like a King and Queen from the moment we arrived (2pm) till we departed at (4:30pm). Although we were on a Menupages Voucher of €29.99 for 2 four course meals we were treated exactly as everyone else.Beautiful setting, tasty food and not forgetting the warm, informed and friendly staff. What a wonderful after Christmas treat thanks to Menupages and Roly Bistro.See you again soon at Roly's.Mel and Edita

I had heard a lot about Roly's Bistro and jumped at the chance to try it out when a friend suggested it for dinner. It is not too big and enjoyably quiet (possibly because of the clientele who are mainly professionals). The food in general is an absolute winner but the cheesecake in particular was the best dessert I have had in years (if not ever). Service was friendly and efficient without being forced. While it is on the main road through Ballsbridge and near the Dart and easily enough to get to it is still just a little bit too far from town just for dinner but I will certainly try and get back for another meal.

We had a wild night - Wood Pigeon followed by Venison. The Wood Pigeon was a little tough but still very tasty with Black Pudding. The Venison was, melt in your mouth, delicious. I would definitely return for the Venison. The Crème Brulee was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal.
