Great food, friendly staff & really good value. I followed the waiters recommendations & had a delicious dining experience. We were rushing to go to a show, but will definitely return to this restaurant again.

Food was good but too expensive. First 30min ruined by extremely loud pair of girls - my wife and I could not hear each other even though we were the only ones there!

Strongly recommend. Small space with warm and welcoming ambience. We were only diners there for about an hour but felt completely at home. Owner is excellent host and the food was really tasty with good sized portions. Just 5 minutes walk from Smithfield Luas stop. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic spot off the beaten track. Had a lovely Croation meat cabbage and potato dish. Great value deal, €20 for €40 worth. Highly recommended

Went for lunch to Lavanda today. Food was absolutely gorgeous and very tasty. It was very reasonable and the owner was very attentive without being overly so. It was quiet at lunchtime but I will definitely return to try the evening menu which sounds delicious.

Owner was very attentive, nice, cosy inside, food very good but could be hotter, apart from that can't fault it

It was our first visit here but we are sure to return. Although it was quiet when we arrived it quickly got busy. The dining room is cosy and comfortable. The service was superb - the host is extremely friendly, helpful and constantly smiling. The food was very good. We both cook so can be a bit picky I suppose. I really enjoyed the pate and chicken burger. My husband would have prefered the soup to have a thicker consistency and the tagliatelle to have more chili but that is definitely a matter of personal taste. Overally, we enjoyed our visit and as we are locals we are certain to revisit.
