Our first time to go to the restaurant and have to say we were really impressed with the food and atmosphere, although service was a bit slow - we put it down to it being a busy night, christmas time etc - definitely need a reservation but its was worth it - wings were delicious

We’ve been 3 times - 1st time was amazing - the wings were to die for and we had amazing service from two ladies. Excellent from start to finish. Then the wings were so good we decided to go back a few weeks later on a Friday night as a treat as we just kept craving the wing deliciousness. On arrival we were ignored and stood at the door like a pair of eejits for about 7/8 minutes, then when we were eventually seated, the atmosphere of stress among the waiters and the frustration of the other diners waiting for attention made us discreetly head for the door before our orders were taken and we went elsewhere. You won’t believe it but we still went back for more. Wing night this time, yep we still had the craving. It was a Wednesday night as they do a wing special and it seemed good value. Service was ok but we were served our wings in about 5 minutes flat. 3 big bowls of yesterdays wings – dry, reheated, no sauce. What a disappointment. We will not be going back for more punishment. What a shame as the first time was so so good!! Oh and bring back the really friendly ladies - they were super.

Had a really lovely evening here with 6 friends - The service and food was great and it has an overall really nice atmosphere. Our waiter let us take any of the daily deals available (which are really good value) and swap around drinks / items to suit ourselves. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a great vibe - child friendly too so I will definately be back with my family and looking forward to trying out their American Breakfast some weekend.

Had dinner and a bottle of wine here on sat evening, walked in at 7.30 without a reservation, although v busy they fit us in, I had the ribs, my friend had the chicken burger, food was fab, huge portions and well cooked, no need for starters or dessert here I was stuffed, lovely bottle of SB for €22, service was good and atmosphere was v chilled out, a new regular for me I think, also great deals midweek will be going back to try those!!

Came here with two friends for an early dinner. Place was empty when we arrived but gradually filled up with children/couples. Waiter was friendly and we ordered straight away. There was a little bit of a wait for the food. The riagtoni pasta dish was ok, a bit to creamy and thick. I ordered prawns with it but the size of the prawn was miniscule, i would prefer bigger prawns. We also tried the prawn tempura which did not have a tempura batter but a thicker, more breadier batter. Overall it was an okay dinner but a bit pricey. Would prefer if there was early bird or set menu.

Absolutely love this place, this was my fourth time here and cant fault it, atmosphere is fantastic, decor is cool and well thought out, the staff and service is brilliant extremely helpful and attentive.
Food is excellent and portions are very generous. I would highly recommend the chicken wings, ribs and burger which has been voted the best in Ireland. Steaks are very good, we were with a group of 16 on the fourth occasion we were here, seven ordered steaks and all came out exactly how they wanted it which is fantastic.
The rest of the menu looks amazing there is a huge range which I/we will be back to try.
Menu is great value,I would recommend this place to anyone you will leave this place smiling.

You know, I could really write this review like this: "Just go", because the only way to explain the 5 star rating of Scotch Bonnet is through your personal experience, and believe me you wont be disappointed.
I have dined here many many times, and each time has been a real treat. I have recommended Scotch Bonnet to many friends and family, and not one has had a bad report to return. In fact, most are now loyal regulars too.
The atmosphere is whatever you want it to be, as Scotch Bonnet caters for all. The service is great, the menu is varied (wothout being cluttered) but every dish served to perfection with all the right extras.
The only word of advice I could give it to pre-book, cos this place is popular, and you'll experience that when you go!
