Bay Restaurant 4.5 star review: Nice atmosphere, good buzz in place. Would've liked a window table rather than 'middle of room' but will request one nxt time I book. Food was excellent, hummus

Bay Restaurant 4.5 star review: Good food with friendly staff. Didn't spot on the menu that the 'special' only applied in the evenings, so had an expensive lunch!. Enjoy the meal and would definitely come again.

Bay Restaurant 1.0 star review: Went in to redeem an offer I bought before Christmas. I always try to support local business, so bouth the offer. When I came in today i was informed that the deal had been valid for 5 days only.... I've bought a few of these deals in the past but never saw one with such a short shelf life.

Anyway, the manager refused to honour the voucher & charged me for the coffee I had whilst there. that translates into 10 euro for a coffee...

Poor show, and an insult of an 'offer' if you ask me.... won't be supporting again....

Bay Restaurant 4.5 star review: It's been nearly two years now since my partner and I have been going to this lovely and pleasant restaurant. We have never left feeling disappointed whether it's just for a coffee or evening meal. We can highly recommend it to anyone for any occasion especially if you like great food and value for money all year round. You'll find the staff very warm and pleasant and they'll make you feel your at home with the warm surroundings and atmosphere we experience each time. Be sure to make a booking if you intend to go for an evening meal as they are always busy at this time.

Bay Restaurant 2.5 star review: We found the food nothing to write home about and portion sizes small (was still hungry after my main course!). Also, €6.50 is quite steep for a dessert consisting of three scoops of ice-cream!

Bay Restaurant 3.5 star review: Came here with the family for lunch! i had the wild mushroom bruschetta. Was gorgeous! I love the counted calories. Fennel seed bread option was lovely. Nice to have option of coeliac breads also. I had ginger orange juice which was lovely but perhaps over priced. Atmosphere nice, maybe the tables too close together. Service good also. Others had the pate which was lovely also and the king prawns were delicious too. I've been a few times and I'll be back again.

Bay Restaurant 3.0 star review: Loved the calorie count etc - but service was appauling - I asked four times for a glass of water and my food came about ten minutes before my friend's. Food was nice though - even though tables are a bit too close

Bay Restaurant 2.5 star review: Disappointed. Booked a table in Bay for 2 for four people. Was left waiting for 20 mins, didnt mind too much as it was such a beautiful day and we were chatting away. Chicken wings were tasty but things went down hill. Service really lets Bay down. It took 2 hours 20 mins to have starters and mains. We asked for dessert menu's 6 times. In the end we paid the bill at the till and went down to Clontarf for ice creams. Food was ok but service was appaling, won't be going back in a hurry!

Bay Restaurant 4.5 star review: I had won a voucher for free lunch for two here, which was valid for the two-course lunch special during weekdays. I had soup of the moment and the bruschetta. The soup was chickpea and onion-yummy! The bruschetta was a bit too greasey for my liking. It is a pet peeve when restaurants drown your food in dressings/oils. However I was offered the option of a dessert in good will. Nice touch! The other half had the bruschetta to start (on white bread, was less greasy than the brown....) and chicken as the main. He was fully satisfied. I would go back as there were other things off the special menu that i'd like to try.
