Stayed at the Bracken Court on a voucher with meal for two with wine and bed and breakfast. The main restaurant was not open as it was a Monday night so we had our meal from the bar menu. One had sirloin steak and the other had the american burger. Both cooked to perfection and served with chips, mushrooms, onions and salad. Both cooked to perfection. The ceasar salad and rib starters were excellent too. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Will be back. Breakfast was excellent too.

It's neither possible, nor fair, to judge the atmosphere in a restaurant when a meal is booked for 6 p.m. The Laveer is a spacious restaurant and there were only two other couples there at that time. We went for the €29, three-course meal-for-two. We shared a starter and a dessert and both chose different mains. I had the Hake with dill mash and it was delicious. I’m a fish lover and have never had Hake before but after tasting it last night, will definitely have it again. It was beautifully cooked, tender and moist. The mash was lovely and creamy and we were brought a very colourful side dish of roasted vegetables to accompany our meal. The dessert of Chocolate Ganache Pudding was to die for. Meals were well cooked, and presentation was top class. Service was prompt - our waitress had a great sense of humour which added to the evening. It came to €51 for two of us (including a bottle of red wine). That's very good value by any standards these days.

We stayed overnight at the Bracken Court and decided to avail of an offer of a 3-course meal for two people for €29 in the hotel restaurant. To be honest, we were a bit dubious because it was so cheap, but we needn't have worried. The meal was delicious, and while the menu on offer wasn't extensive, there was something to suit most people. Service was very good, overall it was very good value for money.
