Fantastic place for food, for the atmosphere and surroundings. Came here at the weekend and WOW Again! (Came here a few years ago as well). Still a beautiful place. nnThe resturant is on a boat on the Quays. What a cool experience to be eating on a boat floating on the liffey. Very cool idea and a part of history in its own right. The boat was apparent used to ferry passengers from the harbour in Cobh (near Cork) to the RMS Titanic back in 1912 for their voyage to the new world.nnThe interior is cosy and as you would imagine for a resturant on a boat. nnFood was amazing. I started of with the asparagus, pea & quail egg salad. It had asparagus, peas, mint puree and pea shoot salad. My God, fan-bloody-tastic. Loved the mint on it and the quails egg (of course) was absolutely lovely. It also had a black olive tapenade which complimented it well. Worth the try.nnFor mains, I had the comeragh rack of lamb with char-grilled courgettes, cumin carrot puree with rosemary dauphinoise potato and red wine jus. Wow again, even more delightful than the starters. The Lamb fell off the bone with ease. So soft and tender. The carrot puree was full of favour that went together well (will try and create this at home as a great idea. Great for a dinner party! That will put a few noses out of joint!!). The red wine jus also added more delicious flavor to the dish (got to use this more in my own cooking now as well so long as there is any left after a glass full!!). nnFinished of my visit in the bar upstairs with views of the Liffey. Honestly, blimey!!! What a great experience. Everyone should go here and try the place at least once. Its such a great place. Could almost live there like your own little island...

Wow ... Amazing food. As a vegetarian I am usually given the same old food over and over again. Not on Cill Airne. The dinner was imaginative, tasty and well presented. The waitress was so welcoming and friendly. In fact she was fantastic and recommended the most tasty wine! The restaurant was warm and cosy yet still nice and spacious! I will definitely be back.

Amazing food , staff all lovely. My only thing was how far out it is. Would definitely go again though. I had the rib-eye steak it melted in my mouth was beautiful. My friend had the stuffed chicken she said it was beautiful also. The beer battered onion rings are to die for!

Couldn't fault the food. Service was friendly and attentive. The dining room was very warm, combined with a wave from a passing boat made both my guest and myself feel slightly ill. But on the whole, a very enjoyable experience and good value meal (Pre-theatre 3 courses for €27)

The person that took my reservation was very friendly. The ship is really lovely and the dinning room is done up really nice. I had the Mozzarella Arancini and my husband had the pork belly for starters. Both were really good. I had the catch of the day and my husband had the Cutlet of Pork both were excellent. We had the Raspberry Cheesecake with white chocolate sauce & honeycomb crumb and Apple Crumble both were really good. The waitress was really friendly and very professional.I can't wait to go back.

Lovely. This was my first visit and most certainly wont be my last. Perfect location for pre meal before a show at the 02, very good service and the food was delicious. The decor very nice and suitably decorated for the boat that it is. We did not manage to check out the bar but will do that next time.

Dined here on Menupages voucher before the theatre. We told our waitress that two of our party would be late but to go ahead with our order as we were going to the theatre and that the two latecomers were not. We got our starters, during which the other two arrived, but were left waiting for our mains. When we asked, we were told that they were waiting on the two latecomers!! I know in ordinary circumstances, this would be acceptable but not after being told that we wanted the six people going to the theatre to be served. The food itself was delicious and the portions were very generous. I had the chicken stuffed with black pudding and it was lovely. I asked for the raspberry cheesecake without the white chocolate sauce and explained that I don’t like white chocolate. It arrived without the sauce but covered in shavings of white chocolate?? As the room was quite cold when we arrived, we asked if they could close the window behind us. We were told we could move to a different table as they window was broken. All in all the food was delicious and the voucher was excellent value but need to up the maintenance on the ship or not open until the summer months and listen to the customer.
