The Bank on College Green 2.5 star review: Have to say I think the glowing reviews here must be submitted by management. The place has nice decor and a great pianist but it's terribly noisy and not at all a good place to eat. Staff are friendly and efficient though. Probably ok for a drink on a quiet evening but not to eat on a busy night.

The Bank on College Green 5.0 star review: Myself and a group of friends met up in the Bank for a drink with the intention of going on to a restaurant for a meal, but when we saw the plates of food that were being served we decided to stay! And we were so glad we did; the food was first class, obviously prepared by someone who takes pride in what they do it was so beautifully presented. We could find no fault, particularly recommend the roast chicken and the fish and chips. And what value, average e15 a head! Great!

The Bank on College Green 4.0 star review: Lovely atmosphere and food...can be a bit expensive but worth it. The historic building adds to the atmosphere. Feels more upmarket than the prices reflect.

The Bank on College Green 5.0 star review: I love this pub, great food and atmosphere. Food as per usual was delish, we had the fish & chips and the roast chicken both of which were perfect. The wine list is fantastic and the bar staff are great at recommending wines. The service was great as per usaul I couldn't fault this place at all.

The Bank on College Green 3.5 star review: Ate here on a Wednesday evening, was fairly busy so a decent buzz in the place. Had the half roast chicken which was very tasty. Good selection of wine by the glass. Overall a good spot for a bite to eat during the week.

The Bank on College Green 4.0 star review: My partner and myself have been regulars in the Bank for the past 2 years. Every few weeks we have a Sunday chicken roast at 6-7pm and listen to a girl that sings there on Sunday. Unfortunately our last dinner wasn't as good as it normally is which was very disappointing. Chicken was very tasty as usual, but veggies were terribly overcooked (please do not add celery sticks to it, they were awful!), we got mash instead of usual roast potatoes and there was no dressing on spinach leaves. Overall the evening was enjoyable as the singing and service was fabulous, but dinner was only average. Hope this review is read by someone in the Bank so they can fix it.

The Bank on College Green 4.0 star review: Popped in for lunch this week. Went for the fish and chips which was one of the tastier I've had with 2 large pieces of fish, chips, tartare sauce a mushy peas. This is a simple dish yet so many places get it so wrong. My friend went for the chowder which went down well aswell. Portion sizes are very generous here and service is always very prompt. Great spot for a quick lunch.
