An excellent lunch which represented exceptional value for money. The standout dish was my wifes risotto but we are still talking about the broccoli which had us fighting for the last piece of a vegetable I normally leave. A well chosen and reasonably priced wine list complimented the exciting menu. Service was prompt and friendly without feeling rushed or intrusive. We will be back soon.

I love this restaurant. Anytime I go the service is great, relaxed vibe about the place and the food is amazing. The 3 course early bird is great value for money and is constantly changing. The deserts are a definte highlight- they seem to improve every time I go. I ate off the early bird menu and had a gorgeously flavoured celeriac veloute, roast chicken with black pudding, pea puree and cabage, and the strawberry cheescake. Loved it all. My only quibble is that you have to order sides separetly- and if you are anyway hungry you need to.

My partner and I went for lunch here today. Have been dying to go for ages. They have a really excellent set lunch menu which is fantastic value. It was just 25 euro for three courses. We both opted for the Celeriac Veloute for a starter which was a lovely creamy soup with bacon. The bread was really tasty...and the waitress asked us if we'd like a second helping unprompted which was great. I opted for the cod dish which came with a fricasse of mussels, fennel and chorizo and saffron orzo pasta. It was delicious. My partner chose the roasted chicken dish which came with black pudding and pea puree. This was also really nice. Everything almost looked too pretty to eat....almost...;) We both had the same hazelnut ice-cream dessert which came with hazelnut and chocolate biscotti. There is a tiny espresso on the side which is poured over the ice cream when served. It looks impressive. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, service and food. Already looking forward to our next visit!
