We finally had dinner last night in Pichet after wanting to try it for some time; it did not disappoint. The food & wine were delicious, the staff were really friendly and gave us excellent service and the general atmosphere in the place was really classy! The starters in particular were amazing; we chose the salmon with asparagus veloute and lamb ravioli and I would highly recommend either. Pichet is now firmly one of my new favorite places to eat in Dublin and I cannot wait to go back!

Had wanted to try the food for awhile and it was worth the wait. It's a lovely restaurant & suitable for romance/dates imo. The quality of dishes was excellent, the presentation of each dish was lovely and the service was excellent too.

Great food just off Dame street, would highly recommend but but be warned table booking is essential as you may not get a seat at the weekends or midweek for that matter!!

Went there last night and we had the early bird menu, food was lovely but the service let them down.. We were only seated and had just taken a sip from the wine and the starter arrived,as soon as it was finished our mains arrived... There was no time between courses to enjoy the wine and to chat.. we both felt very rushed and were too full to enjoy the nice bottle of wine we ordered.

I had an evening here with some work colleagues last week and really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and service was really good. The Christmas menu with 3 courses for €30 was great value and we all enjoyed it. The choices are quite limited but there seemed to be something for everyone and it all hit the mark. The crab cake starter was really tasty and the beef cheek I had for main was also quite rich and tasty. Everyone was really happy with their choice of dessert as well and my floating island didn't disappoint. A good buzz about the place with the other groups about. I'll definitely go back.

The food was fantastic - could not be faulted in the slightest. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the value was excellent for the standard of food; lunchtime 2 courses €20 or 3 courses €25. It was an added bonus seeing Nick Munier chat to the chefs at the pass! But the service really lets this great place down. It started off great but went downhill. Our mains were delicious but no one came to check to see if everything was ok or if we'd like another glass of wine/another bottle of water. We were handed dessert menus and chose two desserts which sounded fab and we'd decided on coffees and we waited......and we waited......and we waited!!! Over 15 minutes passed and the staff were more interested in clearing down dirty tables and resetting them than looking after the customers they actually had. We got fed up and asked a young girl who'd just come on duty for the bill. Our bill came to €63, about €30 less than we had planned to pay we would have ordered extra wine/water/dessert and coffee....if we were given proper service. Just to mention again how fab the food was though!

Went there with a group from work, wine amazing, starter ok, but main course very disapointing.
Have been dying to try this restaurant for months and I must say I wish I didn't go now.
We had the early bird so maybe they don't put as much work in for this menu - but I won't be returning.
The waitress we got was rude and rushed us out of our seat.
All in all bar the wine not a good experience

Myself and my Wife had a meal last nite, Busy night, we asked our waiter for butter with our bread, took 10 minutes to get it, we were left waiting for wine for another 10 minutes, this happened 3 times thru out the nite, sitting there with empty glasses, our main came with the wrong side order, took another 5 minutes wait to get it changed, and another 10 minutes to come back with the right choice and which time our main was finished, another wait of 10-15 minutes to get the desert menu, again with empty glasses in front of us, by this time we had asked for the bill, which came very promply...service very very poor, food was very good, but over all would not return.

My husband and I dined here on a Wednesday evening at 6pm. It was quiet but was quite busy by the time we left. We opted for the early evening menu as it was mid week. The choice was a wee bit limited. I had the risotto which was very nice and my husband had the country style terrine with celeriac remoulade which he thought was a bit heavy on the mustard. for mains he had chicken with dumpling in a light broth which he thorouhly enjoyed. I had the salmon whic was cooked perfectly and delicious but the butterbeans in the accompanying sauce were under cooked and hard. But all in all we had a lovely meal. The service was excellent and we will definately be back
