Pacinos, City Centre South

The Location Nestled in the heart of Dublin 2, Pacino’s Restaurant, Bar & Venue is ideally positioned on Suffolk Street, in Dublin’s main retail and social district. Neighbouring Trinity College, Dublin’s historic Molly Malone Statue (across the street), the famous Grafton Street Shopping promenade and Dublin’s Tourist Information Centre, we are very central, easy to find and close to all the main City centre attractions. The Restaurant For over 15 years Pacino’s has been a family restaurant known for our delicious Pizzas, Pastas, Steaks and Salads. Our aim is to serve traditional, fresh, quality Italian cuisine. We pride ourselves on good service and well presented food with the emphasis on generous portions and value for money. We offer a modern dining experience, with an old world vibe – stylish brickwork, wooden floors and soft lighting all combine to create a rustic ambience and a very relaxing atmosphere. Pacino’s restaurant has a capacity of 100 seats since its renovation in 2007 and can cater for large or small groups. The restaurant spans over 2 floors; the main ground floor area and also a mezzanine floor which can host private or group bookings.

Just had very nice lunch in Pacinos. Service was very prompt and staff courteous. We had 2 paninis which were tasty and filling. One side of chilli hand cut fries and a coffee for €20. 40 minutes and very relaxing.

Booked a table for 11 on Christmas Eve and when we arrived the place was buzzing. We were seated upstairs at the back and it was really hot. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other and it took three requests before they turned it down. The food was really average and lukewarm. Unripe tomatoes and no flavour to anything. Won't be hurrying back but think our bad experience might be because they were so busy. Will maybe try it another day when I'm passing. :(

Myself and my husband ate here on the 25/11/11 for the first time, and we will definiatly be back. I had the garlic prawns to start and then the char-grilled chicken, both were gorgeous. My husband had the garlic mushrooms followed by the seafood Paella, which were gorgeous aswell. The staff were helpfull and friendly and the atmosphere was cosy with candles lit everywhere (however this did make it a bit difficult for me to read my menu). As far as value for money goes, you can't beat this place either.
