Gotham Café is a casual eatery serving good food in a laid back environment, starting with a light breakfast menu in mid-morning and carrying right through until late night with an extensive and varied menu.
Our concept is to deliver top quality food, at reasonable prices, in an unpretentious and casual setting. Gotham Café is a neighbourhood restaurant where you can relax, chill out and enjoy yourself without feeling too worried about the size of the bill at the end!

It can fulfill many needs, being suitable for a quick meal if you are on your way to the cinema or theatre, to a full three course menu with coffee when you are in the mood for a little more.

Much of our menu and, of course, all of our signature pizzas, utilise our stone pizza oven which was imported for us from Washington State in the USA. These pizza ovens are regarded as the best in the world and we believe help us create outstanding pizza bases. Our pizza dough is freshly made every day, on the premises, using just five ingredients: flour, water, yeast and small amounts of salt and sugar.

Gotham Restaurant Group recently took part in the first ever Irish heat of the Global Pizza Challenge and won the Gold Medal.
So now we are officially Ireland's Best Pizza as voted by the Panel of Chefs of Ireland.
We will represent Ireland at the European Finals to be held in the UK in April - if we win that it's on to New Zealand in the Autumn.
Gotham Restaurant Group consists of Gotham Cafe, Gotham South in Stillorgan & The Independent Pizza Company in Drumcondra

Pleasant, basic enough dishes done nicely. Also accommodating to food allergies. From many visits over the years, the best thing about Gotham Café is the service. They never rush you and the staff don't ever leave you waiting or interrupt unnecessarily. Always polite and attentive. Great relaxed atmosphere, even when at its busiest. Consistent quality and decent value for money for a city centre place.

Friday night dinner outside overlooking the street in November is a rarity, especially in Dubiln. Such a nice way to spend an evening. I've been several times. Food is always great and nice wine and beer options.

My wife and I had a late lunch at Gotham. I ordered the celeriac and apple soup starter which had better flavour than I expected and was served with two small slices of lightly toasted sourdough bread. My wife had poached eggs with avocado which she said was excellent. I had the chicken fillet burger with brie and served with sweet potato fries. To be honest the dish lacked flavour. Good buzz in the place as usual and the service was on the money.

Food was tasty with good sized portions, a little expensive though and the tartare sauce was very strange!

Party of 3 celebrating a birthday. We had never been here before but it is to be recommended. The Garlic Roasted Tiger Prawns were gorgeous. Penne with crumbled sausage was tasty. The Gotham Hamburger was very nice. The only food that was not appealing was the french fries as the skins had not been removed from the potatoes and it was very indigestible. Allover though a very enjoyable experience.

Met a firend on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty busy when we arrived. We both got the early which was pretty good value. The house salad as a starter though was a bit light on ingredients and mostly lettuce but still tast. We then had a thai curry and a pizza - both the delicious, the curry seemed to be a huge portion and my friend wasnt able to finish it. Service was excellent and they left us happily chatting for a couple of hours clearing the table or bringing the bill - lovely place in central town to meet for a relaxing dinner

Went for something to eat here after work. I had been here a few years ago and like last time the food was still great. Went for Brooklyn Bridge pizza and couldn't fault it. The other half went for Madison Avenue but she didn't seem to enjoy it as much as mine!. Went for Brooklyn Craft beer which I recommend. I found the service to be excellent by the staff and they were helpful at all times.

Even though I was here on a Saturday night, the three course menu deal was such good value. The food from the starter to the dessert was really good. I got the cod dish for the main and it was really tasty. the portion sizes are just nice too, not too much not too little.

Definitely the best lunch special in and around Grafton Street. the soup, sandwich and fries for E7.95 is impossible to beat- especially with such a lovely selection. Am a big fan of most of the menu but its hard to to opt for this every lunchtime. Decor has remained cool and the staff are always fab

Gotham is always my 'go-to' place in the city centre when looking for somewhere casual to go. Saturday last was no exception when me and my boyfriend went into town looking for something to eat before the rugby match. We arrived with no reservation for lunch on a very busy day (Valentines Day in addition to a rugby international), and the host did his best to accommodate us. My boyfriend stuck to his old reliable upper east side pizza, while I had one of their lunch specials of jerk chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken and fries were amazing and my boyfriend enjoyed his pizza. It was all really good value also! I'll keep returning to Gotham!
