Gotham Café is a casual eatery serving good food in a laid back environment, starting with a light breakfast menu in mid-morning and carrying right through until late night with an extensive and varied menu.
Our concept is to deliver top quality food, at reasonable prices, in an unpretentious and casual setting. Gotham Café is a neighbourhood restaurant where you can relax, chill out and enjoy yourself without feeling too worried about the size of the bill at the end!

It can fulfill many needs, being suitable for a quick meal if you are on your way to the cinema or theatre, to a full three course menu with coffee when you are in the mood for a little more.

Much of our menu and, of course, all of our signature pizzas, utilise our stone pizza oven which was imported for us from Washington State in the USA. These pizza ovens are regarded as the best in the world and we believe help us create outstanding pizza bases. Our pizza dough is freshly made every day, on the premises, using just five ingredients: flour, water, yeast and small amounts of salt and sugar.

Gotham Restaurant Group recently took part in the first ever Irish heat of the Global Pizza Challenge and won the Gold Medal.
So now we are officially Ireland's Best Pizza as voted by the Panel of Chefs of Ireland.
We will represent Ireland at the European Finals to be held in the UK in April - if we win that it's on to New Zealand in the Autumn.
Gotham Restaurant Group consists of Gotham Cafe, Gotham South in Stillorgan & The Independent Pizza Company in Drumcondra

Went for something to eat here after work. I had been here a few years ago and like last time the food was still great. Went for Brooklyn Bridge pizza and couldn't fault it. The other half went for Madison Avenue but she didn't seem to enjoy it as much as mine!. Went for Brooklyn Craft beer which I recommend. I found the service to be excellent by the staff and they were helpful at all times.

Even though I was here on a Saturday night, the three course menu deal was such good value. The food from the starter to the dessert was really good. I got the cod dish for the main and it was really tasty. the portion sizes are just nice too, not too much not too little.

Definitely the best lunch special in and around Grafton Street. the soup, sandwich and fries for E7.95 is impossible to beat- especially with such a lovely selection. Am a big fan of most of the menu but its hard to to opt for this every lunchtime. Decor has remained cool and the staff are always fab

Gotham is always my 'go-to' place in the city centre when looking for somewhere casual to go. Saturday last was no exception when me and my boyfriend went into town looking for something to eat before the rugby match. We arrived with no reservation for lunch on a very busy day (Valentines Day in addition to a rugby international), and the host did his best to accommodate us. My boyfriend stuck to his old reliable upper east side pizza, while I had one of their lunch specials of jerk chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken and fries were amazing and my boyfriend enjoyed his pizza. It was all really good value also! I'll keep returning to Gotham!

Went here for a quick lunch while Christmas shopping. Thankfully we arrived at 12.30 because by 1pm there was a queue out the door. The service was slow but they weren't understaffed so it had to be a problem with the kitchen. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my partner had the steak sandwich - both came with fries included. The steak sandwich was run of the mill but I'll be going back someday for the pork. It was delicious but messy - just how I like it . They could do with finger bowls or wet wipes for sandwiches like this and people like me.

I had a bad experience here many years ago but recently decided to give it another go and it has since become my new favourite place to brunch. It poses unbeatable value for money. The portions are more than generous for the price and the menu has great variety. The Mexican eggs are my firm favourite. Delicious!

Went to Gotham Cafe on Friday night with work and really enjoyed it. There is a good selection on the ala carte menu with a lot of coeliac options and also a good few vegetarian ones. The staff where very helpful and attentive. The only negative was the food was bit on the cold side.

My friend and I decided to have the early bird on Sunday evening. There is a good selection of both starters, main courses and deserts ( two courses €16 ). Food was tasty and portion size was very good. Service and friendliness of staff excellent. Wine prices are also very affordable. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will return.

ordered chicken with sweet potato chips. The chicken portion was tiny and the chips whilst delicious, were fairly scarce. The meal was served on a wooden board, rather than a plate, which doesn't exactly fill me with glee. I was still really hungry leaving the restaurant and had to stop on my way home

Keep coming back to Gotham. Noticed on the Menu that the place is there 20 years now !. We shared the Roast Veg Antipasti and had the Blackened Salmon and Garlic/Rosemary Chicken as mains. All very tasty and washed down with a sub €20 Grenache/Syrah. Great buzz to the place and tables turned over as soon as they were vacated. Very friendly and attentive staff. There's a reason why Gotham is there for 20 years. Long may it continue. Great food and great value - we'll be back.

Arrived on a Friday after the lunch time rush yet the place was packed and buzzing. We got the last available table and were quickly served. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich which comes with chips and it was lovely, good size portion. Reasonable prices, nice food, great service and atmosphere, would return for sure!
