Fade Street Social is an ambitious new project incorporating two restaurants under one roof; The Gastro Bar and The Restaurant, along with a relaxed Wintergarden.
Fade Street Social celebrates Irish food and character. Its approach is another departure from the formality of fine dining, while trying to capture the unique sense of humour of the Irish.
In this huge 8000sq ft. space, again, Dylan’s fantastic creative team has captured a number of uniquely different yet subtly connected brands all under one roof. It seems that the main beneficiary in the current economic climate is the diner, as restaurateurs have been forced to sharpen their offerings. As a result, people can enjoy superbly high standards at affordable prices.
Dylan is hell bent on continuing to offer creative, exciting new concepts that are quite simply for everyone, delivering great quality and great flavour in a relaxed setting.

Excellent atmosphere and full to the rafters on a Thursday night on what was according to the taxi driver on the way home, a fairly quiet night in town. Very good service and good organisation of the bookings on arrival.
Not completely mad about the bench style seating at the centre of the Tapas bar but maybe that helps the energy of the place. The Tapas were a bit too small portion wise for my liking, I had read reviews here before I went that they were very big but maybe I'm used to more. Very good quality of food though. The Cod Cheeks were nothing special but the Lobster Hot Dog very nice even if relatively small, I'd leave the Chickpea chips behind but the skinny fries were very nicely done and presented. Finished off with deserts which arrived very fast and were fine.
I'd go back again but maybe book into the restaurant next time.

Got a short notice table and we weren't disappointed. Any confusion about the menu was clearly explained by the waiter. Beautiful pork belly starter for me and scallop for my wife. The mains were even better, filet steak and trout. The sides were top quality, especially the mushroom open ravioli, full of flavour. The desserts are presented in a slightly unusual way but both were good. Overall, Top notch and will be back soon.

I couldn't fault our experience here. The food was truly amazing and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. The highlights for us were the lamb flatbread, the denver roll steak from the specials board and the goose gog cocktail. I look forward to eating in the gastro bar in the future.

Dined here on a Friday night upstairs in tapas bar. Firstly, the service is really good, attentive and knowledgeable. We were advised to have 3 tapas per person. The pasta tapas was excellent, Pork belly was good, but a bit too fatty.Prawns were good. Food is beautifully presented and is not your normal tapas menu. However, I found it a tad pretentious and not very filling. 12 tapas and 2 bottles of wine was €200. - thought this was a bit expensive given portion sizes. We had a few drinks in the bar after (table was needed back, however, we were not rushed), good atmosphere here. Worth a visit, however, don't go too hungry!!

I have to say, the food here is outstanding. I visited with two friends and we were shown into the A La Carte Restaurant. There is a tapas bar type of place where you can wait for your table and everywhere was packed. I ordered the duck mousse to start and it was truly outstanding... the flavour was amazing and every bit of the dish was jam-packed with flavour. My friend ordered the smoked salmon and seemed happy with it. We ordered mostly from the woodfire menu....the menu is extensive and you will find something you like. I ordered the chorizo option... delish! We had a lovely waiterwho was very happy to go through the different options and was a credit to the restaurant. All in all, we found the entire service to be very professional and curteous. Even though we were to vacate our seat after our meal by 8:30, it was fine and we were reminded quite nicely. The atmosphere is noisy and busy and lots going on, quite a young crowd for the most. I was particularly mesmerized by the massive woodfire oven which seems in constant use. Definitely will be back.... had such a lovely meal, I could order the exact same again but would love to try all of the menu. Well done!

We ate in Fade Street Social on Thursday April 18th. We had booked the early bird menu but we were late getting in there and were too late to order from it. So we ordered from the a la carte menu. We both felt the menu was difficult to understand at first but our waiter was excellent and explained everything to us very clearly.
We shared a wood fired beef & tuffle lat bread & it was delicious and not to heavy.
My partner got rabbit for the main and i got the beef and both were excellent. They were cooked to perfection and really tasty. You have to pick your side dishes so we got 2 between us and they were equally delicious.
We each got deserts and they were fabulous. Really well presented & very tasty.
All in all we really enjoyed it. I think the prices on the a la carte were in the higher price bracket but you paid for what you got. The early bird menu there is excellent value and i will definitely go for that again.
I did find that the tables were very tightly squeezed in so that would be my only issue with it.
The staff were excellent and i was very impressed with the standard of service.

Was looking forward to visiting the restaurant and had high expectations.
On arrival we had a drink in the busy bar upstairs, the cocktails were lovely and on a par with other bars in the area on cost. We informed the restaurant staff that we were in the bar and they said they would collect us when our table was ready. 20 minutes later we went downstairs to be told our table was ready (it was now 9.20pm). The restaurant was full (as expected) and loud; the tables were close together and as a group of 7 we found it impossible to talk to people at the other end of the table.
I'm not a fussy eater but I struggled with the menu, particularly the starters as there was nothing that really grapped my attention. For a menu so focussed on meat I was surprised to see Veal but no Venison on the mains. Two of us shared a woodfired flatbread for starters, this was nice and a perfect starter to share. My main of Wexford Sirlon was good as ordered (Medium-Rare) but the steak was dried out, no meaty juices to enjoy (perhaps this was because the steak had being sliced). Two people at the table had the braised lamb stew which looked good and they both liked. I didn't have dessert but those who did gave it mixed reviews.
Service was slow to start (it was almost 10pm when our order was taken) and it was hard to get their attention during the meal.
Overall I was disappointed with both the atmosphere and the foood.

I really wanted to like this place, but I visited the tapa bar with a few friends last week, and was really put off by the treatment we got. We had never been there before, and when we walked in there were 2 doors, we opened the wrong one, which led to the kitchen, and the person at the desk, who appeared to be some sort of manager, stared at us as if we were thick, and when we went in the right door she commented "do you want to do the dishes?" with a dirty look on her face. Luckily, the guy standing beside her made a joke and lightened the mood. We then asked her if there were any tables available, she picked up the list of bookings and looked at it for ages, as if she was trying to fit us into a fully booked restaurant, but when we were led upstairs, the place was empty apart from a few tables! It was a pure exercise in power-tripping. I later witnessed the same manager giving out to one of the staff in front of customers, I was absolutely disgusted, it almost put me off my food!
The food itself was ok, a bit greasy and not as tasty as I thought it would be, but it might have been the things we ordered. ;
The waiter serving us was very good, seemed to be very knowledgeable about the menu, although he advised us to order 3 tapas each, which was far too much and we couldn't finish it.
Overall, food was average in my opinion (a few things like chicken popcorn" were unusual, but not especially nice, more of a novelty factor), but we were happy enough with our bill, it wasn't outrageously expensive.
I would NEVER come back here though, after being treated like an idiot and having to witnesses staff being berated was just too much, that was unfortunately my main memory of the evening, and it left me feeling angry, instead of satisfied from the food.

Dined in the restaurant section with friends from work. Really liked the room and the open kitchen provided some theater. It looks like a huge amount of money has been spent on the kitchen and dining room and the effect is impressive. At first I found the menu a little irritating as many of the dishes are priced by weight which makes it difficult to understand the final cost. The waitress was knowledgeable but there was so much detail for her to go through it took too long to explain the specials and take the order. The food was very tasty & well presented but too many plates, bowls & platters were delivered to the table leaving little room to actually eat & drink. I had the salmon to start & rabbit for main & both were very good. The flatbreads (call it a pizza and you get frowned at!) looked excellent too. Pricewise it was not amazing value but not overpriced. I would visit again but would try the gastrobar next time as it seemed a bit more fun.
