I went here on the menupages deal for the 4 cocktails and platter, although you cant complain with the cocktails the platter although nice wouldnt fill you, lovely place though was here before, Very modern and impressive

Went to Ely Gastro Pub as it is close to the theatre. We had the pre-theatre two course menu which was pretty god value. The food was tasty and there was a lot of it. The bread and butter pudding was amazing, but there was too much of it as it is quite rich. Service was friendly, efficient and we didn't feel rushed out of the place even though it was very busy. Would definitely recommend it, and go back again.

Ate here before going to the theatre. The decor is very modern and relaxing, so that got a good rating. However the food was very poor. I have had much better food in the other 2 Ely restaurants. I asked for a dressing for my salad starter and was given a little jug - when I poured it over my salad I realized it was just vinegar! I ate it anyway but the waiter just shrugged (I feel his English was not great). My main meal was cold but as we were under time pressure I didn't bother sending it back. Not impressed. My 4 friends thought their food was ok. OK isn't good enough these days. Also thought it was expensive for the food quality.
