Di Bella Cafe 1.0 star review: Firstly, may I say, I do not write negative reviews unless I passionately think and feel a restaurant should get one. I normally find all the good things to write about when I’m reviewing a restaurant but unfortunately, this isn’t the case for Di Bella Restaurant. This place is a real money spinner for the owner but a terrible experience for the customer!!
I eat out now and again for lunch so I’ve seen a lot of nice places and not so nice places but I went for lunch here one Friday, looking for a nice Friday treat and I was horrified! Firstly, the atmosphere was awful, the waiters look and act like they don't want to be there, not at all motivating, also slow, and it nearly took 10mins to get water! When I ordered, (veggie burger) the food came out sloppy, cold and something you would find in a really really bad canteen! Actually the food reminded me of terrible, cheap canteen food! The burger came out in this greasy, cheap looking burger bun, the burger was burnt, just terrible!! The chips were cold and thin and withered looking! They weren't fresh anyway!! On the menu it described the burger as a relishing, delicious burger with all the trimmings, what I got was a burnt, cheap, and an unattractive looking "THING" that made me appreciate good food when I eat it! I didn’t eat the burger anyway and sat there with my friend, who I may add; also got this dreaded looking thing to eat. I sat opposite her for the whole lunch sipping water while she ate! The manager walked confidently (don't know why?) around me about 4 times and not once did he apologise. Please make sure you think twice about going here, we work hard to deserve a good lunch, don’t waste your hard earned money and time in here!

Di Bella Cafe 2.0 star review: I was served a burnt quesadilla which was to come with chips, salsa, sour crem and lettuce. The salsa was like a piri piri sauce from a jar and was the exact same as the 'tomato and onion Relish' which was served on my friend's burger. The lettuce looked like it had been lying around a few days and the chips were skinny and not great.
Was very disappointed as I had eaten here before in the past and used to like the food.
Overall the food and service left a lot to be desired and I will not be going back there.

Di Bella Cafe 3.0 star review: Went for lunch and didnt leave feeling very full! We ordered the chicken special, stuffed with cheese/sundried tomatoes and it was really, really tasty, However it was a bit on the small side. It looked quite lonely on the plate to be honest. My corned beef sandwich tasted fab, but again rather on the small side and the accompanying skinny chips, although plentiful, just werent tasty at all. The restaurant is clean, rather sterile looking and unfortunately the day we were there it was cold, and the restaurant just didnt heat up. The service wasnt great, we had to ask for menus, actually we got them ourselves, we had to ask to order, and at the end we had to find the waitress in order to pay. Although most of what we got was good tasty food, I really thought it was overpriced for lunch.

Di Bella Cafe 5.0 star review: Does what it says on the tin. I lunch here regularly and the food is very consistent. If you are wearing the fat pants and feel you deserve a treat try the Calzone followed by the chocolate biscuit cake!Oink!

Di Bella Cafe 4.0 star review: Lovely cafe. Lovely clean interior and friendly staff. Food is always fresh and hot. Authentic and varied menu. Would recommend the lasagne or carbonara. The spanish panini is also lovely and the cajun pasta.

Di Bella Cafe 4.0 star review: I had been here a few times for lunch (I work nearby), and the place is always busy. On this occasion, 3 of us decided to try it for dinner. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and there was only 1 other table seated in the time we were there. The menu is excellent with lots of variety, and very good value for money. Only 1 of us ordered a starter - stuffed mushrooms - which was delicious (I had a taste). For mains we got the Del Nona pasta - which is absolutely gorgeous; the chicken arrabiatta - which was nice, but not amazing (and a bit TOO spicy, even though I like spicy food); and tomato bruschetta - which was very, very tasty! The portions were generous, so we shared a dessert: apple crumble, which was the highlight of the evening! Service was OK; the waitress wasn't overly friendly, but was competent. It’s a shame they aren’t busier at dinner, but I guess the lunch trade more than makes up for it (in fact sometimes there is a bit of a wait if you haven’t booked a table). The décor is modern and simplistic, and the restaurant is clean, but not very cosy. They have a take-away menu, which is convenient if I wanted to get something after work and take it home.

Di Bella Cafe 4.0 star review: This cafe is close to where I am currently working so I have eaten there recently with colleagues and earlier today with my family. The atmosphere and decor are pleasant, as are the staff, who appear to have a variety of nationalities.

The menu covers pizzas, pastas and a mixture of classic dishes such as burgers, quesadillas and so forth. Food generally arrives quickly and with a minimum of fuss.

The reason this place is worth visiting is that, although the menu is fairly standard, the execution is really rather good. My daughter had a pizza that was particularly tasty (hard for a simple pepperoni offering!) and the burger is full of flavour. The soup, pasta and quesadillas also got high marks from our group.

Throw in the fact that, for Dublin, it's quite reasonably priced (a soup, two main dishes and two children's meals, including a pizza that would feed an adult), came to just less than €40.

Recommended if you are in the area!

Di Bella Cafe 4.5 star review: joint best pizza in dublin, have only ever had pizza here, diablo is the best. pizza cooks in 3 mins, the proper way. can't believe that a lot of the delivery companies get away with charging so much more for less quality. we used to usually get the takeaway and eat at home, but it closes earlier now and all weekend so only get the odd one now. last one was still great though. but lads get a delivery service together you will rake up dublin!

Di Bella Cafe 5.0 star review: Very good food, served despite the mayhem around lunchtimes. Decent drinks; good coffee; authentic italian food, including specials that are actually special. Pity they're closed at night now.

Di Bella Cafe 5.0 star review: I've eaten here many times over the last 12 months as has my partner who works in the area and I find some of the earlier comments totally wide of the mark.

We've found the food here delicious, filling and as authentic as an Italian can be in Ireland with Italian staff.

After 12.15 the line-up is out the door for Lunch but they seat very quickly and have more table than appears. We can't get enough of their chicken caesar salad, chicken cacciatore, spaghetti Bolognese and numerous pizzas.

We found the price pretty decent and comparative with other Italian restaurants in Dublin.

Atmosphere at lunch is very lively and service is absolutely brilliant.
