777 3.0 star review: Nice setting, great location, nice food but too EXPENSIVE for the food that you get. A pity, but i will be looking else where for better value

777 4.0 star review: Had my first visit here last week and enjoyed the experience. We arrived at 7pm and were told a table was not going to be available for 75 mins, they were exactly right! We both had the enchiladas and the pineapple cocktails (and then more cocktails again!) and both were really good. There is a great atmosphere and nice waiting staff although its very noisy so if you want a nice quiet meal I would not recomment it. Be careful with ordering the cocktails through as this can increase the bill quite significantly. :)

777 0.5 star review: I don't mind spending a lot on food when it is good food I'm actually getting and as much as I wanted to like 777 I left with a bad taste in my mouth. The food is far too expensive for what you are actually getting and the staff were rather rude to one of my colleagues. I thought the cocktails would be a saving grace for the evening but again too expensive and overrated. The whole experience was a let down and the cuisine incredibly uninspired, I shall not be returning in the future for such bland food, which seemed reheated reheated.

777 4.0 star review: Came here on a Friday night. The place was buzzing. It is loud inside with music playing so don't expect a quiet meal but the atmosphere was great. The food is delicious and the margaritas fabulous. It isn't cheap however and I think that the one € symbol is misleading. Dinner for 4 with cocktails and a bottle of wine came to €250! However for a lively meal the place is great fun and I would certainly visit again.

777 2.5 star review: Heard so much about this restaurant, so brought along a few people. We drank margaritas and ate a selection of starters and sides only. One of our group didn't eat meat. Tough for her really, as food, while acceptable, isn't a priority here. She ordered some crisps and canned beans.

I had two margaritas, and was floored, and I mean floored the next day. Might just be too strong? I know in Ireland stating that alcohol is too strong isn't fashionable...

The experience was OK. Staff were OK - bit cool for my liking [in that they thought they were], but attentive and efficient. The music was, frankly, awful. Started OK volume and gradually expanded to the volume of the space-shuttle launch. Obviously younger clientele like to scream at each other, but I was with a group of singers who all hate shouting in bars, and we eventually left because we were screaming at each other, tanked up on over-strong booze.

This isn't really a restaurant, its a bar with food. A loud, trendy one with oddly sited toilets. Definitely not suitable for an evening of talking and relaxing. Must suit someone, as it it appears to be so popular, or maybe, as I have always suspected in Dublin, the bar is pretty low for dining experiences. Could do better.

777 3.5 star review: Came here for a late team dinner. Lovely looking place, good facilities and amazing food. I can honestly say that next to one burrito place, this was the most authentic Mexican food I had ever in Ireland – with a nice modern twist! Not the cheapest place to go, but well worth a visit even if you are only to have the cucumber and gin drink along with the fresh tuna carpaccio tortillas. The only issue I had with this place was the staff – please stop thinking that you are the best and irreplaceable in Dublin, I do understand that the place is busy but that does not mean that you need to treat your clients with arrogance and smug.

777 2.0 star review: Have been wanting to try out 777 for some time now (despite hearing mixed reviews) and I have to say I will not be back. The food arrived cold and lacking in flavour. The only course I did enjoy was the crab salad, as it is meant to be served cold! I liked the music and atmosphere of the restaurant but it certainly doesn’t compensate for the over-priced food when there are so many better alternatives close by.

777 2.0 star review: Bland food, which I suspect is reheated. Completely overpriced for what it is. Unusual hand washing setup, waitress washing cutlery across from you, while porters walk back and fourth directly past the toilet door. Disappointing. To finish off the waitress asked us if we were putting the tip in our credit card! Probably would appeal to a certain clientele but this didn't include me.

777 3.5 star review: I've been dying to try this place out for so long! Myself and the hubby landed in on Sunday eve without a reservation and we were offered the seats at the bar which suited us as we were hungy and happy to eat straight away. Out waiter was very friendly and gave us an outline of some of the dishes. We started with 2 margaritas which were strong and expensive! We shared a starter of tostados which were only ok and as other reviewers stated, looked more like they had been assembled rather than cooked. I got the tuna for mains and hubby got the pork flank. Tuna was perfectly cooked. Pork flank was tasty but not a lot of it. We ordered a bottle of house white too. Didn't bother with desert. Overall the bill came to 110 which I felt was very overpriced for what we had. Nice vibe to the place and friendly staff. Maybe next time I'll just sample their tapas!

777 4.0 star review: Have visited a couple of times, never have a reservation and prefer to sit at the bar and get a plate of each of the tacquitos on offer (sometimes the ceviche as well) whilst sipping on a couple of beers (they're presently stocking Brooklyn which is fine by me, would love if they had some Anchor Steam too) and enjoying the buzz.
